After playing Vanndar Stormpike, all 8-cost cards will be able to be drawn next turn (turn 5), and 9 drops on turn 6, so hopefully you'll get Pit Commander and spam the board with big Demons.
Edit; Replaced the early game draw cards (Felosophy, Spectral Sight & Whelp Bonker) with Trueaim Crescent, Far Watch Post & Mor'shan Watch Post because it counters early agression better. The synergy between the weapon and the watch posts is also great as it annoys your opponent and you're able to Rush the watch posts with the weapon (as they are guaranteed draws for turn 1-2-3).
Edit2; Re-added the Whelp Bonker because it adds some much needed draw after Vanndar Stormpike, and it also has synergy with the weapon. The Mor'shan Watch Post doesn't do enough I feel.
As for the mulligan: Keep Vanndar Stormpike when on coin and coin it out when you can, as it gives an earlier 7 drop on turn 4. It's important to keep the probability of drawing Pit Commander as high as possible on turn 6, so it's best to keep the other 9-drops in the opening hand. Do not keep Pit Commander!
this deck sucks. never reached 4th turn yet...
Edit: nevermind, thought it was a deck for today's tavern brawl....
Note this is a deck designed for this weeks Tavern Brawl. It is not designed for constructed play.
Don't have Whelp Bonker, so replaced it with Ace Hunter Kreen, and found it incredibly valuable in saving health from the early game trades with Trueaim Crescent. Pirate Warrior conceded on turn 7. XD
If you're missing one of the big cards N'Zoth is a good replacement.
Can someone explain what happens when you don’t draw Vanndar? To me it seems like you just die constantly. the entire write up for the deck is written from the perspective that you will get Vanndar in time or coin it out.
you will always draw Vanndar on t4
Yes, the point of the brawl is that you draw a 1-cost card on turn 1, a 2-cost card on turn 2 and so on, so you'll always draw Vanndar on turn 4 as it's the ONLY 4-cost card in the deck.
Really? I played five games with this deck now and drew Vanndar once. I get wrecked in every matchup so far.
Edit: 9 games in a row, all in all one Vanndar - draw. A lot of the decks in this current meta are super fast. Often you are dead around round 5. Deck has a lot of „ifs“ and often times one can just sit there and watch how the opponent blasts you away
Try swapping the Whelp Bonker for Ace Hunter Kreen to save some life in the early game (and hopefully keep your Watch Post alive longer too).
Expensive in mana cost. Slow is a better word. But the game I played vs aggro hunter was a just bad luck.
The deck is superstrong even against aggro decks. 1st game was against hunter and i won easy !
The only thing is, maybe you could write a list of possible minion changes :)

Cheers
i dont know about expensive tho. i am a f2p player and i have almost all the cards except one giant.
this deck slaps, after turn 5. your opponent will conced lmao
Same here, played against mage - beautiful :D
Too expensive. Gets wrecked by early aggro decks...if you don't get a pit commander on turn 6.
If you get wrecked by early agro, it's wise to replace the 1/2/3 cost slots for countering that agro with cards like Throw Glaive, Felscream Blast. Fel Barrage, Immolation Aura, Chaos Leech or Eye Beam
I found it's not that bad to take a bit of early game damage though, as the power spike at turn 5 is so huge with cards like Mo'arg Forgefiend to recover..
As for the cost, you are free to replace any of the epics or legendaries with other big guys which you do have, as Vanndar Stormpike reduces their cost and you are able to get a big advantage at turn 5. The demon package with ideally Illidari Inquisitor on turn 5 and Pit Commander on turn 6 is just super strong and fun imo
Turn 5 concede, well done on this deck.
