I See the Void.

For August 2021, Season 89, I hit LEGEND with this aggressive Priest deck Last season/month, I didn't have time to play HS much, but when I came to ladder with this I had a lot of fun! I had a record of 23-15 overall, with roughly a 61% winrate. As someone who really dislikes playing Priest, this deck is a huge breath of fresh air.

My Match-up Stats:

Demon Hunter: N/A

Druid: 1-2

Hunter: 3-1

Mage: N/A

Paladin: 3-2

Priest: 2-2

Rogue: 1-0

Shaman: 0-1

Warlock: 10-4

Warrior: 3-3

Overall Game Plan

Shadow Priest is an aggressive deck centered around the direct damage Hero Power, Mind Spike, granted to us by Darkbishop Benedictus.  With this in mind, our deck wants to go face very often, and deal as much damage as possible each turn. This deck also is comfortable saving up cards to do burst damage in the mid game to try to close things out. There is a lot to this deck that may make it difficult at times if you do not plan ahead of time or even during the current turn, so make sure to think about what you can do to enable a victory.

Mulligans

This is probably one of the most difficult parts of the deck, even after a good number of games. A lot of the time, I found that you should aggressively mulligan for our 1-drops, especially Voidtouched Attendant, Southsea Deckhand, Shadowbomber and Bloodsail Corsair. If you can afford to, keeping/search for our copies of Parachute Brigand with a Pirate in hand is very important. Ship's Cannon is also very good, but only if we have our cheap Pirates to combo with it early on.

Specific Mulligans

Frenzied Felwing is a good keep if you think you can cheese it out super early on turns 1, 2, or 3.

If you think you can activate it on curve, Twilight Deceptor is an exceptionally strong keep and card, especially against slower decks.

Burst into their Minds

With the ability to get multiple copies of Mind Blast, Shadowbomber, and Voidtouched Attendant, you may just be able to create scenarios wherein you can burst your opponent down in a last-stitch effort to rob them of the game if they've managed to stabilize. There is a lot to this deck, as I've mentioned, that makes it somewhat feel like it is an all-or-nothing deck, so make sure to think your turns out.
