For now, only played three games against only Pogo Rogues, but feel it's worthy of a share. For now, you can survive to turn four no problem, which is at that point wherein you could potentially cycle through the majority of your deck. You can get unlucky and not draw card draws, but at the same time, you can easily find lethal faster than Pogo Rogues.
Embiggen Patches outperforms this deck so hard.
I don't deny that at all. Curious thing though, majority of games I faced was Pogo Rogue. I only came across just one Embiggen Patches Druid and one Overload Draw Snowfury Giant Shaman, and that was it for the tier ones.
It's okay for getting your free pack but too many ppl are net-decking this so I built a counter-deck.
it just won vs Mill druid and a few priests (surprisingly), so I decided to share it here.
Cult Neophyte, Robes of Protection, Kobold Monk
Bad matchups: Mech hunter and Patches druid
It can out-tempo Giants shaman due to neophyte disruption.
Good matchups: anything with spells. Insta-win vs decks targeting the face w spells.
It's only neutrals, so you can play it in any class. I chose Demon Hunter coz u can hero power on T1
(and I only have Demon Hunter left below lvl60)
It's an interesting combo and does ultimately counter my deck. I quickly tested it out and lost to two Pogo Rogues and one Murloc Paladin. My deck suddenly took off and then dissipated and we seem to just be back to Pogo Rogue.
Innkeeper may be dead (not syncing at all), but this is the best top 3 deck combo.
How would it beat Embiggen Patches druid? So far it has been one or two Embiggen into Patches to fill the board with lethal.
I can see how the mentioned Ancient Mysteries/ Ice Block version can potentially play enough Ice Blocks to stay alive and win, but without IB you lose on T2.
Easy answer: it doesn't... ever, lol. Majority of the time though, I saw Pogo Rogue so... not understanding why Embiggen Druid isn't the automatic go-to as it usually was. My guess if that you can no longer farm gold, so people are venturing to alternatives, but if that's the case... why Pogo Rogue? Still results in a fast game with minimal reward.
Innkeeper has been dead for many many months, I'm afraid.
ancient mysteries/ice block/fireball mage stomps this, but other decks might not be as fortunate.
Faced one. Unsurprisingly lost, lol.
Wery good!
thanks
You can turn this into a slow burn deck by replacing fireball with deck of wonders. Let your opponent wait and see all spells you cast.
When I tried it, the spellpool was just so terrible. Barely anything useful :(
lolol easy peasy 3 turns win. TY ^^
Unless you are against rogue
It's not a guarantee, but generally, this deck is stronger than Pogo Rogue. Luck of the draw though for both players, Mage and Rogue.
First TrY ! Over POWER DECK !
very nice, won on 1st try, thank you!
Thanks
I'm no mathematician, but... 10 Fireballs... is equal to...
Like, probably more than 30 damage, so you're good.
Nice deck. :)
