Before the nerfs, Orange used this list to help him place Top 8 twice in one weekend to qualify for Master's Tour Orgrimmar. I tested this deck before the nerfs, but I still believe after the nerfs to Pen Flinger and Jandice Barov, this deck is still extremely powerful, and can consistently combo, play for tempo, and pressure other decks depending on your match up.

Looking at the list, you have tons of Tempo minions and value cards in the form of Wand Thief, Foxy Fraud, Mankrik, etc. But the real power of this deck comes from the flexibility of being able to gather the 30/32 damage OTK, or playing for tempo and using a large amount of burst to finish your opponent. One of the ways we are able to do this is due to Efficient Octo-bot and Pen Flinger working together so well.

If you're able to discount your Alexstrasza the Life-Binder as well as your Tenwu of the Red Smoke once, then you can fire 16 damage in one turn for 10 mana. However, if you get TWO discounts on both legendaries, you can set up a 32 damage OTK with the help of two Shadowsteps. You can play 7 mana Alex, 0 mana Tenu, Shadowstep Tenwu, play 1 mana Alex, play 0 mana Tenwu, Shadowstep Tenwu, 1 mana Alex, 0 mana Tenwu, into 1 mana Alex to complete the 32 damage combo.

And even if you need to play Shadowstep for tempo, (I found myself playing Shadowstep into Field Contact a ton to consistently draw the deck very quickly), you can use Wicked Stab as a back up with one Shadow step to deal 30 damage instead. Remember that you still need to discount the spell with Octo-bot.

I have a few games with the deck before the nerfs, but the changes really don't weaken this deck. It just prevents Jandice Shadowstep from auto winning games.

Hope you guys enjoy! Feel free to comment and ask any questions!
