The general gist of the idea is to complete C’Thun, the Shattered and use it to kill the opponent. To get there, you will aim to buy as much time as possible by stuffing the opponent’s deck full of bird off of the numerous Bad Luck Albatross you are hopefully playing, resurrecting, copying, and destroying through trades and board clears. While your opponent is stuck drawing useless birds, you are hopefully able to draw into and play the C’thun pieces to manage the threats they do manage to get through to you.

When I first saw the new C’thun, my mind went immediately to a Bird Priest shell. I have tried this in Standard with some success but in Wild, the addition of Awaken the MakersTwilight’s CallSpiritsinger Umbra, and Lesser Diamond Spellstone turn this deck into a powerhouse of albatross resurrecting insanity that is sure to infuriate opponents...if you can stabilize the board after their opening due to the slow speed of this deck. My current record is 42 birds in an opponent’s deck, and I’m gonna keep trying for more! (I know the limit is 60.)

Try it out! Let me know what you add to make my random stuff better! This is very much a first stab and a work in progress. I’m sure there is a better balance to be found between rez effects and damage/control spells. For instance, I am debating dropping the Plague of Death to add in one more Lesser Diamond Spellstone and possibly replacing one or more of the Palm Reading to put in Shadow Visions once I pull or make them. However, Palm Reading has been performing pretty well especially when discounting C’Thun pieces, so maybe it will stay.

In the meantime, check out footage of the deck being played by Darkseeker Hearthstone in Diamond ranks to get him to his 1000 win Priest Hero Portrait! Check out his Channel here as well. Mulligan guide will be coming soon for those interested!
