today I faced one and is powerful
Why would you not run the Prime? Feels like one of the strongest cards in the deck (early drop, and not bad as a Muckmorpher either since you get an additional prime). Deck is pretty fun :)
This has "Meme-deck" all written over it, but its the fun type, the one that isn't frustratingly hard to pull off.
The real issue is that it entirely relys to draw two specific minions, on that note Big Bad Archmage is most likely the strongest minion it can possibly morph into on Turn 5, while Fountain and Windlord are on the weaker end of the Spectrum. I'd replace one Scrapyard Colossus for Colossus of the Moon, which is so hard to get rid of, both in his first and second form, and can win you the game right away, if you manage to put an Ancestral Spirit on it.
I gave this a Thumbs up, cuz Shaman is in the worst possible spot right now, but it's decks like these that keep the Fun of the game alive, its decks like this why you joined Hearthstone back in 2014 in the first place. Don't even dare to disagree.
Nope, the strongest shaman is highlander quest shaman. Alex and Hagatha are extremly strong.
Don't waste any dust on this deck, guys. It is complete trash in the current meta. Doesn't have enough tools to deal with DH or the infinite value decks.
Very dependent on draws. Muckmorpher is unreliable as it never guarantees the minion you need immediately. If the deck had more draw engines maaaaybe this could work, but unfortunately Shaman has some of the worst card drawing in Standard right now. 2 Far Sight is literally all we have in this deck. Not good enough.
Your "big" minions will just get Flick'ed by a Rogue or bounced by a Blackjack Stunner. Plague of Death will likely deal with the big taunt guy, then Priest just outvalues you with Galakrond. DH steam rolls you if you dont draw Lightning Storm. Mage will Poof with Reno. Highlander decks will have the perfect answers. Trust me...this deck can't work in the meta.
This Deck is not the strongest version of Shaman currently but it can find its wins and is fun to play (as seen in the videos above). 😉
lol thats how far control sham got, its considered a meme deck
problems of control shaman these days; you need to have the big boardclear spells in hand and even if you have them turn 7 mana without the weapon is bad (and no way of drawing it like warrior has)
Hagatha's needs to be in your hand earlier - it sucks if you draw it late and only has 1 dmg when you need a 5 dmg to all.
Plus a random 6 cost minion is so unreliable, in general I used to play control shaman alot it can be fun but its so inconsistent. Esp. against all those boardflotting decks outthere or aggro decks - if you dont witches brew > low chance of winning and even if you can't waste 4 or 6 mana on it sometimes.
I don't think this is supposed to be a very serious deck, but go on mate
I don’t have the Adventure, so no Fist. Any replacement?
Unfortunately not, the weapon makes the deck much more consistent.
1 game? lol. vesus 6 DH in a row. this will suck
Where's your positivity? The deck is first and foremost fun, then comes the winrate ;-)
Are Sir Finley Mrrgglton and Shifter Zerus options? Or can't they be summoned this way in Standard? Not sure how that works.
PS cool deck, I upvoted!!
Wild cards cant be summoned on standard
Do you know that if you run 1 cost spells and play them with weapon active it always summon the priest prime? cause it's the only 1 cost mana legend minion.
You should try it!
Is this deck any viable for legend? From diamon3
The deck creates a positive win rate when used properly, but there are certainly safer ways to reach Legend. But you can give it a try ;-)
Deck has a win condition. Summon something big, give it ancestral spirit. Muckmorpher is there to cheat out something 4 turns earlier.
Problem: while you can definitely win vs aggro, you might also draw poorly - with top heavy curve really hurting your draw chances. On the other side, youre lacking control tools in the lategame.
Many games look like this : Hex + Ysera doesnt work. You hex + Pass with 4 mana left over after hero power. Next turn, Hagathas scheme + totem + pass. Last turn, no removes left, slap archmage, he gives you something that doesnt recover - game over.
with 2 "recover cards", witchbrew and fountain, youre also going to struggle vs aggro - drawing ONE of these doesnt win you the game, and chances are - youre not muckmorphing into fountain, witches brew is in the bottom 15 cards - which you wont see without good draw. Face hunter and Demon hunter arent going to be easy matchups at all.
Yes, a good draw can win you games. But turns like 6 free cards in rouge, highlander tempo turns, or.. a good draw from aggro - can definitely present a huge problem.
2nd walking fountain needs to be in here permanently, that card is one of the best shaman cards. Definitely better than blatant decoy.
Otherwise, i like it. looks great
