Unlike other PvE bosses, Chenvaala freeze his minions summoned with his hero ability on the first turn when they are summoned.
So thinking about Chenvaala's consistent hero ability and minion values in the late game, you'd better start with the quest, Untapped Potential and hang in with Wrath, Branching Paths and Ferocious Howl before turn 5.
I recommend you to use Poison Seeds right before turn 5 and clear his board with Starfall on turn 6. If you survived on turn 6, it's almost over.
Spread your board with Gadgetzan Auctioneer and other Spells.
*Important: Keep your draw mass cards such as Nourish, Ultimate Infestation before using the first Jade Idol. This is a basic operation rule of Jade Druid with the Quest.
*You can add Kun the Forgotten King instead of one Innervate.
*You can also clear Avalanchan with this deck.

Yooo wtff I had to use dusts alot of them to make this deck... but won first try like wtff all the comments on here I was nervous but starfall saved my ass early game then just adding armour and huge jade idols crushed him
So Chenvaala kills me before I can complete the quest every time. How are you supposed to win? Didin't even live long enough to poison seeds.
FINALLY!! I’ve tried for over a week with Mage decks and have come close but couldn’t pull off the win. Took about 4 tries but I beat this bit*h! I did remove an Innervate and replaced it with Kun the Forgotten King and that is what won me the game. Poison Seeds & Starfall combo (or back to back) VERY important!! Spreading Plague isn’t a guaranteed no damage next turn due to Blizzard/Ray of Frost combo so don’t reserve Poison Seeds/Starfall combo if low on health,
if you don't have poison seeds/starfall by round 4, you're toast. Even then, i can't make it past turn 7. Still working on this one...
Took around 10 tries to finally get the draws I needed. Once you get the jade golem train going it's easy.
I don't have the Untabbed Potential I replaced it with a Jade Spirit. Works fine aswell. A bit different to play than the quest-version, but good enough for second try.
Wow see for me the untapped was huge huge huge for late game card advantage especialy with the jade idols card that costs 1
Sure, the "untapped potential" is a huge bonus. But the deck works aswell without it. I didn't want to craft it for the adventure. ;-)
got it on 3rd try. easier than the mage ones.
