Proof (rank 2):
General Strategy:
Through the early game, this deck doesn't do much other than play a Bloodsail Flybooter, dagger up, and try to play an EVIL Miscreant or Seal Fate for a little bit of tempo. Fortunately, not many decks do much before turn 3 anyway. Try not to dump your hand much, and instead keep as many cards in hand as possible to synergize for a big Twilight Drake, cheaper Mountain Giant, value with Spirit of the Shark/ Magic Carpet, etc. Instead of playing the 2 pirates with Bloodsail Flybooter, i'll dagger up on 2 and save them for later.
In the midgame we want to curve out our big minions like Twilight Drake, Mountain Giant, Shield of Galakrond, and ideally set up a Heistbaron Togwaggle on 6 or 7. Usually, play your big minions first, instead of many lackeys. Lackeys are always easy to play later, and can generate you value. From there, you draw like crazy, puke your whole hand onto the board in any random order and win.
*note* The reason this deck works so well, is because we are generating so many lackeys we are bound to get a few Titanic Lackeys to throw onto our giants/drakes.
*note2* Careful about hand size with Spirit of the Shark in play since we will have so many battlecries that generate cards. Oftentimes, when my hand is full I wont play Spirit of the Shark and rather try to dump my hand while generating as much tempo as possible first.
*tip* You can use Seal Fate on your opponent if they are at full health. And I will usually do so turn 3, if they don't have a minion in play. There are 8 invoke cards in the deck so the sooner you can generate lackeys and upgrade Galakrond, the Nightmare, the better.
Mulligan:
Always Keep: Bloodsail Flybooter, Praise Galakrond!, EVIL Miscreant, Seal Fate, Devoted Maniac, Twilight Drake
Sometimes Keep: Backstab (Against faster classes), Sap (against Priest, Paladin), Galakrond, the Nightmare (against slower classes), Lifedrinker (against Hunter), Zilliax (against Hunter), Sea Giant (against Warlock)
I hope you like this deck and, as always, if you have any questions or have a suggestion please comment below (I respond to all comments)!

Sorry to hear that! If you have any links to your replays or questions about specific matchups we can try to help!
Man, I don't have flik, so I put a Kronx and just got me several wins straight...if I get a Flik I'll still use Kronx. Some decks are really tough.
Glad it's working out well! Yeah Kronx Dragonhoof was a tough decision to cut for sure. If I had 31 cards for a deck I probably would include him but he just felt too clunky and a win-more card. He is very solid for sure tho!
I never seen any freeze mages this month on ladder. Once i played this deck I got 2 in a row xD GG
hahah that's always how it goes! Mage's aren't too tough, since our giants and Twilight Drake are usually out of range of Reno the Relicologist, Blizzard and Flamestrike clears. But always try to keep a sap or answer in hand for their Frost Nova + Doomsayer
played 8 games with this deck won 8 times from rank 5 to rank 2, pretty nice deck :)
I guess most people do not see the giants coming in a rogue deck. and pulling them for free with galakrond or Toggwaggle is a amazing
daaaang, way to go!!!! Yeah, the Giants definitely catch people off guard and are extra scary with rush or taunt from your lackeys! Glad you're having such great success with the deck! :)
I like the idea of the deck but I think you could try some change to see how it goes. Kronx Dragonhoof is definitely a must have, and his mana cost doesn't really matter when you draw it for free from Galakrond or Togwaggle. It win games by itself.
Also, you might want to run a second Backstab in order to activate combo easier. Pharaoh Cat is an one drop you could consider since it also add a card to your hand. I will cut Lifedrinker, Twilight Drake and Magic Carpet for these change.
I'm not a fan of Spirit of the Shark as many deck try to include him and it end up being a win-more card, but I guess if you like it it's fine. Too bad you can't run Eviscerate though.
With over 100 games played with the deck now, you can be sure I've already tried all of your suggesions ;) lol. Kronx Dragonhoof is too clunky to ever play as a 6 mana 6/6 before Galakrond (especially in the meta I was playing in with very aggressive decks like Face Hunter), and after Galakrond we already have huge swing turns by drawing our 0 mana Giants. We also have a a great board clear throughout the game with Magic Carpet since we will have a ton of lackeys and Bloodsail Flybooter that we don't need any more conditional board clears like Kronx Dragonhoof.
Backstab and Pharaoh Cat make our swing turns less swingy because we'll draw them instead of a 0 mana cost giant/ Twilight Drake, etc.
Lifedrinker is absolutely a must-have in this deck to have a better matchup against Face Hunter and other aggressive decks.
You also don't need the chip damage with Eviscerate or Leeroy Jenkins because you'll be beating down your opponents with 8/8's instead ;).
Any deck where spirit of the shark works, has my interest, great idea putting in giants with the lackeys.
Thanks!! The synergy just seemed too good to pass up :)
nice that you dont use Kronx, I also feel like its a win more card.
With rogue I always feel like either owning my opponent or loosing big time because he just pushes face and I have no answer
haha exactly! Before you Galakrond, we can always do better than a 6 mana 6/6, and after we Galakrond we're probably winning anyways especially cause we have big giants that we'll be drawing for free.
Very nice deck... Is there any good replacement for 1 Sea Giant. What are your suggestions?
Thank you! Instead of 1 Sea Giant you could replace with Kronx Dragonhoof but if you don't have him then another Backstab is always a solid addition
Love how this looks! Is there any replacement for Flik Skyshiv as I do not own, but want to try this deck. Understand if that removal is key in the current meta, however, as that's how it appears to myself, but wanted to see if I could get your take.
Flik Skyshiv is definitely a Rogue staple card now in every deck so as soon as you get the dust I would for sure recommend crafting her. In the meantime, you could replace her for another Backstab
sweet deck Monki. Will try this out...most probably end up loving it.
Thanks! I hope you do well with it and love it yourself :)
I've been having fun with it man. The only matchup i've been struggling with is aggro hunter. Other than that....it's doing me many favours on the ladder
