ima be honest, climbing with hand-buff mech paladin is so much faster, but this worked for me even though it took forever lol
Quest gives u single card draw with a 2/3, but is only used against ice block, rogue hero stealth, paladin unforgettable spell etc...
The standard order for the combo is Thaurissan when you have 4 combo pieces in hand. if you plan on using combo at 10 mana crystals
However, if you want to use the combo early and have 5 pieces in hand, use Thaurissan to reduce the overall cost to 9 mana and u can do ur exodia combo on turn 9.
Also, if you predict that the opponent will use a form of lethal evasion, get all 5 pieces of your combo in hand before u use Thaurissan in order to lower the cost of all of the pieces. This leaves you with one extra mana is you have 10 mana crystals, which allows you to use your extra turn card.
Hey man, deck looks fine but i wanna ask:
Whats the Mad Scientist for? Is it for the good early game body + (kinda, unless already drawn) Guaranteeded Ice Block?
I feel like 2 Ancient Mysteries already do the job.
Update: reached legend
Just wondering why the Quest is included. I'm not generating enough spells to complete it until after the Exodia combo. Is this just in case they have Ice Block?
The quest is for iceblocks, rogue hero stealths and stuff like that. It's also good for BM if u wanna flex on them. As u said, u would only complete the quest after ur full exodia combo. :)
Also, I have no other turn 1 card anyway because i leave my arcane artificers for late game when i can use a freeze + other spells in order to gain lots of armor while protecting it.
Update: I reached rank 5 with this this season as well
Also, my highest rank with this deck so far was rank 5 wild
I'm still working on other alternatives to this kind of deck, so suggestions would be nice
