Hearthpwn

Tried 4 or 5 priest decks, none are netdecks, though two have 1-2 cards difference. Had this idea of combo without velen, but could barely push through AI due needing 4 pieces. 

Unless you play quest heal with the low cost minions on curve or Tops one turn later, it becomes a nightmare to play priest these days. So many draw-go turns. 

Priest needs midgame cards at the tempo range of warrior gala, it just does.Not.have enough of them to pull it off. The ability helps rarely beyond a taunter, any card would be a worse rng, but most spells aren't dead. 

Yeah, sad but true... priest is a dead class right now, the only viable archetype on ladder is the combo one. The idea of an otk priest is fun but definitely not that consistent for the ladder.. too many tempo/aggro decks with higher power level.

I showcased this deck and I had a lot of fun with it even though I got highrolled by aggro few times I got the combo off and it it hurted my opponent.  I think generally aggro is going to be bad against almost as for any combo deck but I got a match against quest hunter who played slower than most decks in the meta and managed to get it.. Doin the combo always feels good :D.

I'm pretty sure you cannot invoke if Galakrond isn't in the deck... and with no invoke there's no fate weaver for the combo :)

I know this deck is too slow for this aggro/midrange meta that we have these first days of the expansion, but I have to test some other control tools (chrobreaker aswell). Thank you for the feedback and suggestions man ;)

Why are bashing this?  It's a neat combo deck.

Is it the best?  Far from it.

Are combo decks viable?  Most likely not. 

It's cool, its different and far from that Galakrond Shaman and Pirate Warrior I'm sure you have 100 games of played each already. 

Why are you taking time out of your day to belittle a deck you have no interest in playing? Do you get off trying to put someone down?

How DARE someone have a little ingenuity and want to create something different/cool.

There's nothing wrong with saying the decks too slow and it wont fit the meta. There's nothing wrong with the difference of opinions, we can have a discussion on why its not good etc etc

But for you to literally take the time to belittle and insult and look down on a deck that others might find cool is disgusting.

The discount Mechathun with Galakrond combo doesn't work. Every invoke adds random shit minions to your hand that you need to get rid off...

Why not try a Mecha'thun deck?  Heavy control with galakrond, Discount 'Mecha'thun' and 'Shadow word:Death' to kill your own Mecha'thhun. This way you only have 2 combo pieces, and a lot more room for control/survival cards. Only problem is that invoking causes more cards that you have to empty out of your hand, often leading into longer games. But with a good draw engine it could work? Maybe nomi is just better in general ;/

Right now Nomi is better than this unrefined list for sure. But with some testing I have faith this combo can shine. The aggro/midrange meta is not helping though xD

I thought to Mecha'Thun aswell but the invoke/card-generation issue stopped me by doing it... maybe it coul be better, who knows.

This is a very powerful combo...too bad Galakrond Shaman/Warrior, hunters, and non-control warlocks kill you 10+ turns before you can pull it off.

Combo decks are good against ctrl ones, so yeah, in this meta they cannot shine. Unless they can also win playing like control or midrange decks, but this priest can't do that very well... not just yet at least.
