This deck started out as a meme but after playing and revising it, it has become surprisingly strong and really cheap to build.
Dark Pharaoh Tekahn is a beast in this deck with so many lackeys.
Against control you set up the Expired Merchant / Cruel Dinomancer combo. If you can play Spiritsinger Umbra before playing the Dinomancer, you'll get almost a full board of unkillable 5/5s. Most decks just can't handle it.
Against aggro, just keep pumping out the eggs and beefing your guys up with Grim Rally, Power Overwhelming, and EVIL Recruiter.
Plague of Flames is a good reset button if the opponent plays a ton of giants or big priest minions, etc. As we often want our minions to die this card is insane!
Lastly, Plot Twist may seem like an odd choice, but it is in there to cycle your hand to find the combo pieces you need as your hand is often full of lackeys and it has been super strong.
8/9 UPDATE-
-1 Plot Twist, -1 Plague of Flames
+1 Sanguine Reveler, +1 Devilsaur Egg
update: im at rank 10 in wild progressing against most decks im still missing the warlock legendary for the lackey buff but i made umbra and what a difference people do not realize how broken it is with dinomancer which can be combo played on turn 10 for infinite full board unless priest has the aoe silence and kill but if you have another one in hand still you at least can keep it on the board for the rest of the game most likely... having a ton of fun with this thanks for the post again. i subbed in 2 Ratcatcher instead of 2 Sinister Deal and 2 Devilsaur Egg for Dark Pharaoh Tekahn and 1 Grim Rally
i love the idea here unfortunately im missing the legendary's that make it what it is
Thanks! It's funny because I actually started out with the dino/merchant combo and built the rest of the deck from there. Umbra is super strong in this list. At 6 mana you can play it with any of the eggs for an instantly threatening board and insurance if they wipe it.
Most of the time I win before needing to pull off the dino combo, but when I'm facing a control deck I can switch gears and catch them off guard.
Give it a try and let me know what you think.
Love that you squeezed the dino/merchant in this, and Umbra is really an icing on the cake in a deck like this.
With all the little combos and Plot Twists, it looks very interesting and fun I'll play around with this type/stlye of deck for sure :D
