The Nutjuice
Hallo my name is Rens better known as Sezoklo, I'm a pretty dedicated rogue player and for the past 2 weeks since the new expansion I've been trying out different lists including Togwaggle Heistbaron, Nomi, the vendetta stuff, hench clan, everything people are having questions about whether it's not correct or correct to run it. Yesterday I played a list that looks a lot like most of the tempo rogue lists but I think this list might be the hardcore juicenuts. This guide I am just gonna explain the power of the deck and not really go in to detail to much like I did last time because I want to keep it short but good. In case you have suggestions, questions, anything I would be more then happy to answer them, also I stream every day for about 7-8 hours @ www.twitch.tv/sezoklo where u can ask me questions as well.
Right now I am #5 legend in America and #50 in europe(In europe I've been experimenting a lot with the rogue cards) and I try to climb to #1 every day(I got #1 on both servers since the rise of shadows came out playing rogue) and what else can I say, rogue is the nuts.
Can I play this deck without leeroy/myra's/greenskin? I'm just gonna be honest and say no, these are the 3 highest cost and only 5 mana cost cards in this deck and you need them.
Cards you keep always: Raiding party and prep, you never keep a second one of these cards. Versus control you always keep Myra's, versus anything else, so the mirror for example you never keep myra's. Also vs control match ups or when you go first I like to keep the deckhand, just to have something to play on turn 1, if ur lucky it gets to push some damage right a away. Playing deckhand while having coin on turn 1 doesn't make sense because it gets pinged, so don't do that.
Cards you always keep on coin: Edwin, EVIL miscreant, I would even keep prep here and try to highroll and find raiding party + edwin to make a nice balanced 3 mana 8-8 on turn 2.
To keep or not to keep: I am not a huge fan of keeping backstab, especially not on coin, unless your hand is backstab, prep, raiding party, edwin, that's pretty good. Also if you are not on coin and you have a combo card like raiding party or EVIL miscreant you can keep backstab vs aggro, you NEVER keep backstab versus control. Also I keep sap in the mirror versus rogues sometimes(when they are on coin), in case they manage to get a big ass edwin down and you don't have sap you're gonna be sad. Them using all the resources to get Edwin down to get sapped can be game changing. All the cards I didn't mention in the guide are never ever keeps imo.
About evil miscreant: Evil miscreant is super strong, the lackeys are so good you might wanna consider in certain match ups when you are looking for cards or feel like you are missing tempo to shadowstep the EVIL miscreant to get more lackeys. Imagine searching for myra's or raiding party, the 1 drop discover a spell Lackey can help you out with that. The Lackeys aren't super easy to play with, be careful that the random 2 drops can also be a dire wolf or a doomsayer, so take a second before playing lackeys and put them on the left side or left from a minion that's already on the board and ready to attack. Especially in the mirror, coining out the EVIL miscreant and shadowstepping it to have a super powerful turn with lackeys the turn after can be crucial for your opponent since rogues have hard times dealing with wide boards most of the time.
Myra's unstable element: A lot of people ask me how to use myra's, the only straight forward advise I can give is that as soon as you have myra's in hand you start emptying your hand, which means eviscerating face is a thing, or a minion, you just want to empty your hand ASAP and play myra's to find the rest of your burst and deal with your opponent. Also if there's a chance of finding lethal while playing myra's and the odds are good or you're in a hurry you can always go for it as well.
Lifedrinkers?? Yes, Lifedrinkers feel much better compared to for example hench clan thug, the main reason is the weapon, the waggle pick, which is a really interesting and powerful weapon in this deck as well. Basically all the minions in the deck are "ok" or even good to bounce that's why I think lifedrinkers are good, also sometimes you need a heal or 3 dmg burst(maybe even 6 or 9, shadowstepping lifedrinker is a thing as well).
Tonight I will continue playing this deck and try to get rank #1 legend with it, I believe in this list and I would highly recommend this list by far, it's much better than all the weird vendetta lists you've been seeing played on ladder, 1 of the reasons why is because this deck destroys vendetta rogues. Hopefully this information made a bit of sense to you guys, let me know if you have any suggestions or questions and I will try to answer them ASAP. Thanks for taking the time to read my guide and let me know what you think.

Spirit is a bit slow most of the time, something u can not use in tempo rogue
Adding you on HS was the best decision of my life.
Used it yesterday on stream and reached legend in 3:30 hours! Went from rank 3 to legend and now im rank 11 on EU :D
Lifedrinkers are much better both as topdecks and as bouncers. It's really akward when you got a pick equipped and a thug in hand. You can't buff it and if you try to buff it, it might bounce back to your hand.
The biggest thing i wanna add to this post is that lifedrinkers can also win games ; the +3 hp does destroy mirror matches in case your opponent has the exact damage and it gives you one more turn to close the game. Also, as already sezoklo mentioned, bouncing lifedrinker could be used as a fireball + a 6hp heal (with pick).
Oh and lifedrinker + pick + shadowstep is 16 damage for 8 mana, which is exactly what leeroy + pick does with the same cost. Preeeeeeeeeeety good if you ask me.
Can be a dead draw most of the time and also is too slow since this is an aggro deck. Shadowsteps do help to close out with games leeroy. Out of the warriors i faced, very few could deal with the burst and that's by having boom on 7 + every removal their deck has.
from 18 to 12 without loss beating like every type of deck.
edit: rank 11 first loss vs lucky token druid
Hi! great deck, used to play your previous version and now switched to this took me from rank 3 to legend with no problems. Do you think Heistbaron Togwaggle is worth keeping? I am running low on dust and debating whether or not I should keep him for this expansion seeing as most rogues tend to not use him anymore
Keep the card for sure dont dust it
I've been climbing with this deck and it's doing really well so far. I know that most of the times that I lose it's because I'm misplaying, so I'm really trying to grind my way up and figure out how to play this deck properly. Currently at Rank 9 and doing well against almost every class. The only games I find myself losing are to really hard aggro where I have to trade into minions to keep the board under control, but even those matchups aren't unwinnable as long as I get decent cards.
Leeroy Jenkins + Waggle Pick final swing + Leeroy Jenkins feels so good. This deck can be surprisingly combo-y sometimes and I kinda like the mix of tempo/aggro/combo that this deck has going for it. Big swing turns with Preparation + Myra's Unstable Element + Whatever you get are great too.
Hoping to get past my current highest rank with this deck this month, but we'll see how it all pans out. Thanks for the list!
Doing 16 damage with an empty board and only 8 mana should feel pretty good if you're on the right end of it. It's pretty ridiculous if you're on the other side - makes Pyroblast look like a birthday candle in comparison.
however you cant ooze a pyro, the amount of times warrior bumps that 16 down to 6 is nutty
I just tried this out and have gone 0-5 so far with this deck. Lost to two mages and two shamans and a token druid. The shaman just healed back up for all the damage I did, the mage puts up large taunts that two saps wasn't enough for, and I couldn't kill the token druid faster than he could me. I'm at rank 5
Yeah I have had the same experience. I have gone 0-5 as well but only when playing rank. I sweep the floor in casual but in rank I am getting dusted except for putting a fight against warrior. Token druid murdered me every time
Big priest is hurting too
These match ups are usually favorable for rogues. I've got to say though, if you're not on the coin or your opponents has the nuts, it's not your fault. Mage with a giant on 3-4 and a conjuring on it is indeed insane. The large taunts are usually on 10 mana after being sapped so you're fine if you sap them both. If i got backstab + evis i would always go for the giant.
Shamans, again, luck of the draw. They either draw heals or they die. hold onto damage and if you got deckhand without coin, keep it. Unless they got earth shock, they usually can't deal with 1 drops.
Token druids, mulligan for backstab, SI and probably your evil miscreant. My perfect hand is usually these 3 together. on turn 2,i go coin into miscreant and the next turn,i go for backstab + SI. By that turn they either concede or just lose the board and just get defeated.
Just keep going, i went 0-5 with asmodais mage yesterday while he is going 5-0, practise = key
Thank you for this deck! I just made it to legend for the first time! The lifedrinkers really made a difference after I got stuck on rank 2 with tempo rogue.
hi Rens,
i havent enough words for this Deck and i`m very happy because i hit after 3 years for the first time legend with this Deck. I send you much love. at Rank 1 i had a straight about 5 wins and i hit legend in 30 minutes. That is so LOL i cant believe. This Deck feel so strong. And the Lifedrinker Combo in Mirror matches are so mighty. From Rank 5 to 1 i ranked about 12 hours wiht control warri and feel very strong. But your tempo deck is so crazy. i love it.
best regards
cloosed
just got legend with this deck . My VERY FIRST LEGEND OH YEEE :D:D
I only have enough dust for one legendary, which one is the most important for this deck?
In my opinion Edwin VanCleef if you like to play Rogue it must have, can win games by himself. And Leeroy Jenkins very good in all agro/tempo decks + it's neutral card
This cards from clasic set - safe craft
alternative to leeroy? really dont want craft him for one deck lol
Leeroy Jenkins is used in many decks and is very well worth the dust honestly since he'll never rotate, but if you really don't want to spend the dust you can go with the budget option Reckless Rocketeer. Little less damage and it costs 1 more, so it's way less optimal, but it saves you some dust.
