Still working on the balance and might even lose the springpaws. But the point of this deck is to play control through the early game, build a board presence in the mid game and overwhelm your opponent with multiple copies of key big minions in the lategame.
You only play Joybuzz when you have a copy of Dire Frenzy in hand. Ideal Joybuzz + Dire Frenzy targets are King Krush and/or Oondasta, but Amani War Bear will do. You can then tutor buffed copies via Master’s Call.
Hunting Party is core to the deck and should ideally be played with both Oondasta and Krush in hand (but not the 1-cost copies!). It also will repeat off Zul’Jin, so keep an eye on your hand size.
Emeriss is there to ensure you can quickly get through Warriors’ armor, or to provide extra insurance against a lategame Hagatha’s Scheme.
Thanks for creating this and given us some info on the deck. I really want Hunting party to work Replacement for Japetto
You don’t need Jepetto to make Hunting Party work (in fact there’s dis-synergy there), but he basically works as a way to cheat a Hunting Party effect into your deck, since he’ll likely draw at least one of your big beasts, which you can then buff/replace with dire frenzy and draw them with master’s call. So if you’re going to skip Jepetto, I might drop the dire frenzies as well, and try to include some more control/taunt elements to protect you while you draw beasts and to find a turn to play Hunting Party.
