Proof of WR:

1. Gameplan

I will divide the gameplan of this deck in our win condition, the early stage, (turn 1-5) the midrange turns, (6-12) and the late game (turn 13+)

Win Condition

The win condition of this deck is the insane amount of value we get from Academic Espionage. This card can be played 3 times with Valeera the Hollow These 30 one mana cost cards from your opponents deck can be replayed with Tess Greymane and you can even do this 3 times with Shadowstep

The value is almost infinite, Spectral Cutlass and Deadly Poison make sure you can keep your HP topped.  You try to turn matches into a battle of attrition that you will always win.

Every win is totally different, you can pull of insane combo's that should be illegal. Most rewarding deck i have played this season.

 Early Game (Turn 1-5)

This is the hardest part of the match, especially against aggro match-ups. Try to play on curve and contest the board and value trade when possible. Cards like Tar Creeper Saronite Chain Gang Blink Fox and Vilespine Slayer make sure you always have board presence in the early stage of the match.

Prince Keleseth is a life saver against tempo/midrange decks if you can play him early, especially with Shadowstep This deck is very consistent with drawing your buffed minions. SprintElven Minstrel and Acolyte of Pain will see to it that you draw the answers you need.

 Midrange (Turn 6-12)

This is the part of the game where you want to set yourself up for the rest of the match. In this stage you should find your Spectral Cutlass and 1Deadly Poison Only play one deadly poison on your weapon untill you are sure your opponent plays no weapon removal. You will also want to shuffle oneAcademic Espionage into your deck when you are not behind on board or play it with [card]Preparation[card] Note: make sure you have cards or draw in your hand! Don't play academic without draw or cards to play in the follow up turns!

If you did not get to play Prince Keleseth in the early stage of the match and you find him in this stage try to wait untill you shuffle your first Academic Espionage into the deck, Prince Keleseth will buff any minions you get from this card aswell.

 Late game (Turn 13+)

Value time, as soon as you are ahead on the board play Valeera the Hollow and shuffle your last Academic Espionage twice into your deck with Shadow Reflection

If you did not get to play Prince Keleseth in the early or midrange stage of the match and you find him in this stage play him after you shuffle the double Academic Espionage into your deck. This will give you so much value no deck can deal with it.

This is the easiest and most fun part of the game. You can make insane combo's and every win is so rewarding.

2. Mulligan Guide

General

Don't hard mulligan for Prince Keleseth, if you find him, ofcourse keep him. But if you find Fire Fly Tar Creeper Blink Fox keep those aswell. On the coin Elven Minstrel is always solid, unless you face heavy aggro decks like zoo warlock, odd pally/rogue.

 Vs Aggro

If you have a good turn 1 and 3  consider keeping Saronite Chain Gang or Vilespine Slayer if you play on the coin or if you have Shadowstep

 Vs Control

Vs control you can keep Alcolyte of Pain as a turn 3 drop. Spectral Cutlass and Academic Espionage should be kept if you have a good turn 1 and 3 play.

 3. Card Choices

In this section i will put my toughts on all the cards in the deck, why they're there and if they could be replaced.

 Preparation
Needed for synergy with Sprint and Academic Espionage

Shadowstep
Great card for offense and defense, try to think outside of the box here. Prince Keleseth Vilespine Slayer and Tess Greymane is obvious value here. But in dire times you can even consider shadowstepping a Saronite Chain Gang or Elven Minstrel for card draw. Not to mention all the cards you steal you can shadowstep.

Deadly Poison
Buff for Spectral Cutlass untill you are 100% sure your opponent doesn't have weapon removal, play 1 deadly poison per cutlass. (or 1 deadly poison twice with shadow reflection.

Fire Fly
Only card for early board presence and great activator for Elven Minstrel and Vilespine Slayer

Prince Keleseth
If you get this bad boy on the mulligan he can save you against aggro decks by buffing Tar Creeper or Saronite Chain Gang If you Shadowstep this bad boy it gets really insane. But this deck does not resolve around him. There is always a good time to play this card. Even if you draw him very late, just wait untill you shuffle cards in your deck with Academic Espionage and he will buff those minions aswell!

Acolyte of Pain
I prefer this aboveFan of Knives or Mimic Pod because of Prince Keleseth usually i get 2 cards out of this and its board presence.

Blink Fox
Solid 3/3 body for board presence and gives you a card from ur opponent's class,a card can be helpfull or could be trash, but it does give you a card to give your Spectral Cutlass an extra durability if you haven't shuffled Academic Espionage yet.

Tar Creeper
All that stands between us and the horde of silver recruits.

Academic Espionage
1 mana Pyroblast

Elven Minstrel
This bad boy won't hestitate to pull Prince Keleseth out of your deck, or a 1 mana Tyrantus

Saronite Chain Gang
With Prince Keleseth a true lifesaver. Without sometimes a lifesaver.

Spectral Cutlass
I have had games where this weapon easily healed me for over 30 hp. And so can you.

Zilliax
Strong stand alone card against aggro decks, good synergy with Prince Keleseth and Shadowstep

Vilespine Slayer
Because we don't have Sap and Eviscerate this is our method of removal. Don't hestitate to use Shadowstep if you believe ur opponent will play some more big minions. A shadowstepped slayer (3 mana cost) can be played twice with valeera.

Sprint
Because sometime running is smarter than fighting. And you need the card draw.

Tess Greymane
You have no idea what she's capable of, and neither does your opponent, because you've both forgot what cards you played from ur opponent's class.

Valeera the Hollow
Mayor of valuetown

4. Matchups

In this section i will share my own gameplay versus a archetype of deck.

Druid

 Quest mage

5. Card Revision

19/11/2018 -1 The Lich King and +1 Zilliax
The first game i played with this change was against a odd rogue. Zilliax (buffed with keleseth) was able to kill a 3/3 blink fox, heal me for 4 and i shadowstepped him back into my hand. The round after he killed another minion. After that his hero had to remove him with his weapon.

I won that game because of Zilliax, he took down 2 3/3 minions, healed me for 10 and absorbed 4 damage that could have gone face. This all for just 8 mana.

I feel like Lich king is easily played around with silences or removals. While zilliax gives you the opportunity back. Also the synergy with keleseth and shadowstep is bigger imo.

Lich king gives more value, but i struggle more against aggro than against control.
