This is a fun deck! Keep reading at your own ranking loss risk!

I would not advise you to play this on ladder if you want to rank up very quick or very high, because many things can go and will go wrong. BUT the payoff, when you can do the combo is quite extraordinary ;)

Card Choices:

Why the hell would you ever consider playing Splintergraft? First of I've received as my free legendary at the Witchwood launch and since then tried to make it work. Secondly, it is very nice to get a free 10/10 Arcane Tyrant; you won't believe how many times you can get this combo off. Otherwise you can get a 10/10 Scarab, which can also be helpful against the aggro decks like Odd Paladin. And last but definitely not least, for the memes ;)

Bloodmage Thalnos = very flexible card, gives you the desperately needed card draw plus some nice spell damage :). Especially good in combo with Swipe or Starfall to clear your opponents board. (Must craft)

The Lich King = obviously one of best legendaries in the game right now, he gives immediate value and is also a nice removal target for the opponent ;). This card alone saved my ass a few times :) (Also a must craft btw)

Prince Taldaram = used to copy Malygos, after you played him and destroyed your weapon. Same goes for Faceless Manipulator.

Twig of the World Tree = Makes the whole Malygos, Prince and Faceless shenanigans possible. When you play it make sure you know your match up! Against Odd Pally and Taunt Druid, you can play this on curve if the situation allows it, because they don't run any weapon removal. However if the weapon get's destroyed it's still possible to win, but you won't get the combo off (in one turn).

Malfurion the Pestilent = nice DK card, can give you some extra time against the aggro decks. Def use the hero power as often as you can squeeze it in to tank up. The Lesser Jasper Spellstone, if you haven't used them before, becomes very quickly a six damage removal for one mana. That's what I call value!

Why I don't run Ultimate Infestation. It's used in any viable Druid build, but I've had the experience that I already had enough card draw to have the combo in time. Also five cards can be sometimes too much, especially in situations where you have other card draw like Nourish or Starfire in your hand. And I don't own any copies that's why ;)

The Gameplan:

It's a Malygos combo druid. For those of you that don't know what that means:

Malygos + Faceless + Prince Taldaram + Moonfire x2 =

Keep in mind that you have to equip the weapon and reduce the durability to one in time; better start early before you have all the needed cards. One attack at the end of the game is def possible. Very important: I can't stress it enough - DON'T - DESTROY - THE - WEAPON - BEFORE - YOU - PLAYED - MALYGOS! Otherwise you've probably lost the game on your own and nothing feels worser than punching yourself with a giant club. Except, for getting beaten by Shudderwock Shaman :\

Mulligan:

General Mulligan: Always keep a copy of Wild Growth, Nourish and some sort of removal like Swipe or Lesser Jasper Spellstone. The dream is to have Wild Growth + DK + Nourish + Coin. NEVER KEEP: Moonfire, Malygos or any other combo pieces. Also never keep Splintermeme and The Lich King.

Odd Paladin = Swipe is very important in this match up (must keep), Spreading Plague and Starfall are also very nice. And like always WILD GROWTH. You can also gamble and keep the weapon, because most stupid mindless decks like these don't run weapon removal ;).

Even Paladin = Quite similar to Odd Pally, but keep in mind that they have more removal options through Consecration and Equality.

Shudderwock Shaman = This match up can be really a pain in the ass. Keep the weapon, Nourish and Wild Growth. It's a really important to get the combo pieces as quick as possible, because otherwise you won't be able to punch through the healing and other shenanigans like  Hex. The match is pretty much lost if you're not lucky enough to get the weapon and keep it up.

Odd Rogue = Def keep Wrath, Lesser Jasper Spellstone, keep Nourish or Wild Growth and Swipe. If you survived the early game, you should focus on finding your combo pieces and drop some big threats for e.g. The Lich King. And you should be on the pathway of success.

Hadronox Druid = Ramp, ramp, ramp, is the key in this match up. Also keep the weapon, no weapon removal against you ;). Hit him in the face until there's a taunt in the way to get the durability to one. Very important as it happened some times if your opponent got 10 mana or 9 mana and coin prepare yourself for the Hadronox. Because they mostly activate the Deathrattle Effect with Naturalize. Nothing feels worser than milling your own Maly :(

I will detail the mulligan versus the different classes in time ;)
