Started the season at rank 6. Got to rank 5 with control warlock. Created this deck at rank 5. Few nights of playing this and hit legend. Second time getting legend and second legendary deck I am posting on hearthpwn.
Mulligan vs control : Alleycat, Dire Mole, Crackling Razormaw, Animal Companion, Eaglehorn Bow. The way I beat most control decks was to go face and beat them as quickly as possible. When it ended up going late game vs control, Deathstalker Rexxar with build-a-beast could win the game for you. You can craft beasts with abilities like charge, stealth, silence, lifesteal, posionous, adapt, battlecries and more. The built beasts also obviously combo well with Crackling Razormaw, Kill Command, and Tundra Rhino.
Versus control I would not keep Tracking, any secrets, Kindly Grandmother (gets countered hard by priest and usually isn't enough damage early on vs control), Unleash the Hounds, Kill Command, Lesser Emerald Spellstone (also gets countered hard by control decks with cards like Hellfire and Duskbreaker), Tundra Rhino, Savannah Highmane, or Deathstalker Rexxar.
Mulligan vs Aggro : Alleycat, Dire Mole, Crackling Razormaw, Explosive Trap, Kindly Grandmother, Wandering Monster, Animal Companion, Eaglehorn Bow, Lesser Emerald Spellstone, Deathstalker Rexxar are all excellent picks vs aggro decks. Sometimes I may keep Snake Trap if I have Wandering Monster and/or Lesser Emerald Spellstone. You must almost always try to keep control of the board to win matchups vs aggro.
Feel free to comment on or ask questions about the deck.
+1 if you like the deck.
Thank you for your interest and support!
Here are some videos of players from the community playing this deck. They should give you an idea of how the deck can play out.

Nice one mate.
Thank you! Hope the deck is working out for you.
quite a bad deck tbh, wont work on non legend ladder due to cubelocks, paladin and secretmage eating this deck for breakfast, its like an autoloss...
It easily destroys cubelocks+It can beat paladins but i agree that a secret mage will be a hard one.
With this deck I never felt it was an auto loss against anything. I would look forward to playing out games knowing something very powerful would come from either some Deathstalker Rexxar build-a-beast or a crazy Tundra Rhino combo turn.
There definitely were victories over cubelocks and wins over both murloc and non murloc aggro paladins. Honestly secret mage was one of my easiest matchups. One of the best things I did many times against secret mage was when they play Counterspell, I can just have one of my secrets countered for 2 mana and have it still upgrade my in hand Lesser Emerald Spellstone and obviously trigger Counterspell and protect Lesser Emerald Spellstone when I do play it. Always control the board and take as little damage as possible against mage.
A secret hunter without Cloaked Huntress? Is it even possible?
well I suppose we're weeks from having no choice about it, so we'd better get used to the idea
She's not as good as she sounds, I play her in my Secret Hunter deck and as I started advancing higher up on the ladder I started using her less. She's good if you already got a Spellstone in your hand and just need to play a couple useless secrets to upgrade it, but as your opponents get better you need to match secrets to the situation rather than playing them mindlessly. Moreover, trying to meet all 3 criteria for using a secret (Eaglehorn Bow equipped, Spellstones in hand, Huntress on the board) is tricky and often results in sub-optimal play. I would much rather sacrifice having her out than not meeting one of the other 2 conditions.
my favorite use for Cloaked Huntress is with Lock and Load. Sometimes you get lucky and it keeps giving you unique spells you can cast for free
This looks very similar to the deck I play (https://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/1047434-face-erase-hunter), except I'm missing DK Rexxar and no dust to craft him (I really feel it hurt my end-game, if I can't finish them by turn 8, I usually start losing). However, I'm surprised to see you use Kindly Grandmothers. I replaced them with Scavenging Hyenas and never looked back, they really increased my win rate.
I guess Kathrena doesnt belong here :x
I have had a ton of fun with this deck on the ladder at the moment and I really feel like there is nothing better than a good old turn 4 Spellstone.Curving out with this deck is very satisfying and I really think that for the cost, this delivers a ton of value. Also I can't wait to get Shaw to see how much stronger this deck will get!
I made a video showcasing the deck in all of its glory at legend rank which I hope you enjoy of course :D
I enjoyed the video, thank you for your time and interest. There were games where I would coin Greater Emerald Spellstone into turn 5 Greater Emerald Spellstone. That usually ended in a GG. Also had games where I was able to charge for 12 and even 14 with Greater Emerald Spellstone and Tundra Rhino. Definitely love the mana curve when playing this deck. Houndmaster Shaw looks to be an interesting potential addition to this deck.
not sure if it's just my rank (about 14 atm) but this deck is awful right now. Nothing but control decks, which you lose to if your draws aren't amazing or if your mulligan is unlucky. Priest destroys you, Cubelock destroys you.
Aggro decks are a better matchup, but the most common ones like Murloc Paladin destroy you (though that's not saying much). It does well enough against dudes and secret pally though. I'm sure you could make it to legend with this deck, but only in the same way you can make it to legend with a pre-con. Lots of grinding.
1. I mentioned I got to rank 5 with control warlock then from 5 to legend using this deck.
2. I had many games where I beat Control/Dragon priest and Cube/Rin warlock decks. Priest was definitely my least favorite class to play against, especially the ones of the BIG variety, but again there were plenty games where I won.
3. Murloc paladin was actually one of my favorite matchups. Mulligan for smalls beasts, Explosive Trap, and Deathstalker Rexxar. Always keep control of the board because you know that Sunkeeper Tarim is coming.
4. As far as grinding, I was surprised at how fast this deck climbed the ladder. I only deranked one time from rank 3 back to 4, then from there all the way to legend without dropping a rank. This deck went +26 wins over losses in a short amount of time/games. Obviously in the current rank 5 - legend meta, it is a legitimate competitive standard deck.
I dunno, maybe my luck has just been absolute shit then, lol. It feels like every deck has been perfectly tech'd against this one for me. Obviously that isn't the case, but the rate at which they had answers for everything I did (with those exact mulligans I might add) was astounding to me, so I don't think I'll be touching this deck until at least rank 5, maybe the meta will shift there.
I will give it a try at this deck as i'm blocked at lv 5 and I'm trying to push to legend for the first time.
Thanks
Good luck! I added some more information about the deck recently. See if it can help you out. Thanks!
Raging Worgen too good for me D: ! Seeing a lot of Secret Hunters doing well lately glad you got legend with it man gj :D !
A good example of how a game can go with this deck. Thank you, I appreciate your time into making this video and playing this deck.
