Update: I've reached rank 20 legend. Deck is still really strong. Sea giants are really performing well and catching people by surprise.
UPDATE: Well, I just won 7 in a row and hit legend just then. Here's the proof. I defeated quest mage, big mage and 4 cubelocks and a hunter to get there. I didn't make any changes to the deck, so I'm satisfied with it as is for the time being! I'll try to write a guide real soon!
Tweeg back again. Many times high rank legend player. I'm back again making another deck in hopes people can hit legend again. I have had success in making decks on here before and people messaging me how they hit legend for the first time, so that's always a bonus.
I'm currently rank 2 already and climbing and I did it all using zoo. I started re-tinkering with my zoo after the nerf hit and had immediate success and I am 13-2 with the deck thus far. It's a small sample size, but I have found it quite strong and I will hit legend with it over the next couple days when time permits.
It's almost a throw back to how zoo played in the past with board presence and value trades. This time it still relies on keleseth to buff your minions but has utility and staying power which I have found well versus both control and aggro alike. You want to utilize your giants efficiently while playing your cheap minions on curve and also have burst potential with soulfires and doomguards. Zoo may seem like an easy deck to play, it is, but to master it takes some skill about knowing when to trade, go face and what cards to play in certain situations. I have over 6000 warlock wins, all with zoo, so I am confident I know how to play it quite efficiently. Deathspeaker has been a welcomed inclusion in the deck since the pirate package shuffled out of zoo. It's a natural fit with efficient trades and value. I find one is plenty in this deck as its a utility card which can help swing a game when battling for the board and maintaining life on a strong minion. Over committing is something people do a lot with zoo, so knowing when to do so is essential to maximizing your win percentage.

Hey everybody, thanks for the great feedback! I'm still having very good success with the deck. The deck is meant to be flexible and so you can sub out things whenever you want. For example, deathspeaker can be subbed out for a tar creeer. Fledglings can be subbed out for devilsaur eggs to help with board clears. Same with skelemancers, only if you are running into a lot of aggro. If you don't have malchazzar's imps, use glacial shards. It helps freeze an enemy and allows you to develop a stronger board. Reason for dark iron dwarf is because it is a body that can survive hellfire and buff your tokens to get a value trade or that extra damage needed for the fame. Key is also, know when to tap to fill your hand. Zoo isn't straight forward as you would think.
Nice deck, gonna build it...
Can you replace Prince Keleseth without losing too much? Not enough dust right now...
Thanks!
Yeah this list is bonkers right now. This list was built with such a strong understanding of the metagame. Impressive to say the least!
been hearthstone friend with this guy for a while, ill vouch for it that he's a great player, definitely this deck is awesome as well
Would people like me to write a simple guide about this deck?
I'm simple, need guide.
Tweeg, can I -1 Sea Giant +1 The Lich King ?
Also, Frostwolf Warlord doesn't find a spot in this deck?
Thanks!
Yes, you may put in frost wolf warlord. It is a valid substitution. I find lich king very slow and clunky. Not worth the spot in this deck. You're more than welcome to take out a deathspeaker and put in a tar creeper if you are running into a lot of aggro. You can also tech against other control by running a different package like devilsaur eggs and ravenous pterredeax.
However, sea giants are core to this type of deck if it's token-centric. I would take out maybe one spell breaker for frost wolf warlord, especially if you don't see that many control locks.
I also thought The Lich King was a bit clunky...
I'll experiment a bit with -1 Sea Giant +1 Frostwolf Warlord to leverage on the token mechanic. I simply don't want to invest dust in another giant, as I see more valuable epics that are missing in my collection and are worth crafting, especially after disenchanting the two Corridor Creepers.
I'll keep the Spellbreakers: they saved my ass so many times!
Bloodreaver Gul'dan has saved me so many times when playing this deck against control, or if the opponent has good tempo and keeps up with trades. You sure it's not optimal in this deck? Thinking about subbing one in for a Sea Giant, but I don't know if that would be the best card to drop to fit him in... Any advice? Or is he really just not worth using anymore?
number od demons didn't change but imo you must kill enemy faster in this meta
Bloodreaver guldan is a good card but doesn't fit this deck imo. More often than not you can be stuck with it in hand or discard it. Point of the deck is not to have a long drawn out battle. It usually means you already lost vs control if you have to play it . Cubelock has both guldan and nzoth so no way to come back if you rely on your own guldan. Sometimes they have all the answers and nothing you can do. Key is try to be optimal and know they are coming with hellfirr or a defile. Never leave a minion with one life up and try to get councilman or sneak in a sea giant if they allow you too. For aggro it does well but put in a tar creeper over deathspeaker or a fledgling if you want.
Excellent deck. It plays great around a lot of the post nerf control and people don't expect sea giant. grabbed it at 7 rode to 5 basically immediately. Seems well positioned enough for this month's legend run. I'd absolutely recommend it during this awkward post nerf time before the dust settles.
