I don't like the current meta, but I want to ladder nonetheless. One card that I feel has been left completely unused so far is Lesser Ruby Spellstone, even though it has tons of value!

Costs a bit but then you have a nice elemental deck. You see, big spell mage is not compatible because of the 2 cost Spellstone. And exodia requires too many pieces. So I pretty much went full Elemental here.

Regardless, I had a lot of fun so far playing this. With Frost Lich Jaina I actually managed to outlast a Jade Druid to the point where he could play 1 golem a turn, and I could just keep it frozen and still have a couple cards on deck.

Mulligan for Fire Fly, Pyros and of course Spellstone (but never two). In case of aggro, keep Frostbolt and Tar Creeper.

Try to curve as well as possible using only cards from your deck. Keep the generated cards (yes, also the 1 cost elementals) so you can get the most out of Leyline Manipulator. The free elementals can also be used to quickly fill up a Spellstone later on. The cost reduced spells can be used with Antonidas, but you don't always need him to win. Even without him it's pretty feasible to get a good 15+ damage out of 10 mana on top of whatever you might have on the board, with a bit of luck from the Spellstones.

Still trying to figure out what to do with control priest, this lacks silence. Have been lucky though, not running into them much. If I get some experience I'll try to swap in some counters.

In the 4+ cost range, there's too many cards I want to include but they did not all fit in. Ended up with only 1 Servant of Kalimos and completely without Arcane Tyrant. If you want or need those, swap out Water Elemental or Steam Surger. With all the tiny 1 drops, Corridor Creeper or Bonemare could be included as well. But really, I prefer theme over hype, there's only so much value you can put in a single deck.

Edit:

• -2 Igneous Elemental / +2 Arcane Tyrant for a better tempo swing mid-game (with Blizzard or Flamestrike of course)
• -1 Servant of Kalimos / +1 Skulking Geist to counter Jade Idol and Dark Pact

Fun fact: not a single card in this deck will cycle out with the coming of the new expansion! So hey, good chance elemental mage will make it big come April. Fingers crossed!
