Welcome! Welcome all! I present to you a new kind of druid that will potentially take the ladder by storm (after a few fixes here and there, teehee :) My friend recently came up with an idea that triggered my curiosity. He told me: What if we put spiteful summoner in a druid deck? The deck was then born into this world, striking fear into those who cannot counter it. Please enjoy this deck, as it has pretty cool interactions between some of the new cards (and some not-so-new).
Let me know what you guys think. I, for one, have enjoyed the numerous amount of opponents who have tasted defeat by this deck.
I will be putting a more in-depth guide on card synergies, mulligans, card replacements and general strategies vs some of the most common enemies. Please upvote and share if you`ve stomped a couple meta decks with this deck! ;)
Thanks for giving this deck exposure, it looks like it's becoming a trend ;)
Edit 01/09/18: Swapped 1 Dragon slayer for 1 tar creeper against strong aggro decks
I think if you don't replace Starfire with a dynamic minion you lose alot of Spiteful Summoner's value and potential of hitting that 10-cost minion from Ultimate Infestation peek
I also tested UI only. The reasoning behind starfire was that I would always draw both UI`s, then my Spiteful summoner`s value dropped to a 6 mana 4-4. Still, thank you so much for the feedback :)
I will, however, keep updating this deck list, finding the best suited cards. Still in the early stages. For the moment, starfire has proven quite useful at times, as it synergies well with arcane tyrant.
Ixlid replacement?
While Ixlid has a very unique effect, I would highly recommend you swapping it for a Cobold Scalebane, as it fills the 5 Mana slot pretty nicely! :)
