what
They really should consider changing his artwork, atleast give him a facial expression right now hes just staring forward and looks bored.
I tried some whirlwind warrior, terrible against other warriors since you keep activating sleep with the fishes, and execute for your opponent. I guess the same would be for enrage, berserker etc, what a nightmare, the archetype itself is not bad but the tempo variant gets completely rekt by the control's and the latter might be too slow.
Garrosh looks so sad :(
He's sad because his DK isn't pirate friendly kappa
He chose death, he doesn't get to complain.
It seems a few people are forgetting how powerful Whirlwind and Ravaging Ghoul are. Throw in all the "damaged minion" synergy and this could be a perfectly viable card.
Man, I reallly want this to work in Tempo Warrior. I'm not sure it will. But I really want it to.
Thijs was doing just that today. Looked workable.
Would it be too OP if it also gave 2 armor?
Listen here guys, I have a teory: Blizzard has changed this DK Hero Power right before the final stream reveal because of Trump.
Trump revealed that the Hero Power would have been dual wielding. This Hero Power is not.
First of all: why should he have to lie?
Second, the Hero Power feels not so original. It is basically a Whirlwind. So, easy to code since Whirlwind already exists. They modified the HP after the accidental leak.
Third, the HP art is a couple of swords. They didn't have time to make a new art. The original one was dual wielding, as the double swords suggest.
Fourth, pay attention at the stream and look at the body language of Ben when he talks about this DK. He looks disappointed, he doesn't look natural. In my opinion, he is not happy because of the change of the HP, since the original one was... original, and a new interesting mechanic that we would have liked more.
Fifth, Blizzard is not new in this sort of "change things if they get unofficially leaked" policy. This already happened with the release date of this expansion (DisguisedToast leaked accidentally the release date, 12th of august, and they changed it to 10th) and the name of the Journey of Un'Goro expansion (DisguisedToast, too, revealed in a video that it would have had a slight different name, "Lost Secrets of Un'Goro").
Well, nice conspiracy... You have a lot of fantasy.
1. What if it was just a joke? Why not?
2. Almost all of HPs are just a upgrade/modification of existing cards or HP. Don't getting your point. This HP makes sence. Have you noticed that almost all class cards have synergy with this one? Perhaps not, it's not sexy theory right...
3. What did you expect? Small fluffy dog?
4. Maybe he just don't like it before also, or not.
5. It's your theory, I don't understand why you even mention those examples. If the date was not officially announced it just could not be changed. Logic. Same with the name, it perhaps changed many times before release like everything. Why the reason should be the leak?
And last but not least surprise for you... 99,9% of the community have no idea about the streamer's leaks, they just don't care, they don't read threads on hearthpwn forum.
So many things wrong with what you just said but disguised toast GUESSED august 10th not 12th. So blizzard didn't change it and toast didn't know it at all
DisguisedToast "leaked" the 10th. And it was the 10th. Nothing was changed. Conspiracy busted.
The weapon is great but the hero power just seems bad in the long run. You're hurting your own stuff as much as your opponent's. Unless you make some kind of new enrage deck.
I doubt this will see play in control because armouring up is just better for long games.
Face is the place ;)
With the right deck, this death knight is actually pretty insane especially for how powerful that weapon is. On the other hand, losing the armor hero power is a bit of a drawback in favor of gaining tempo through the one damage to all minions. For 3 turns though (so long as the weapon is not destroyed), that does guarentee 5 damage to at least 3 minions.
not a good card, in my opinion
Yeah right, not a good one in my opinion.
I'd rather have the original hero power than deal 1 damage to all minions.
You might say it's good in tempo warrior but it cost 8 mana and in turn 9 (if you play it at 8) you can use the heropower, way too slow for a tempo deck.
You can play it in a combo fun meme deck.
Pretty disappointed, I thought we'll see a bad ass control death knight here.
