Damn dude that is some next level flavor text
I'm sure there is something here, I'm just not sure it's more than just a meme.
for wild it's awful design. It's like giving shaman access to Fireball
turn 9: Spirit of the Frog -->Lightning Bolt-->Crackle-->Lava Burst = 11-14 dmg
And overload for 4.
Overload does not trigger, when opponent is dead.
Only class with both legendaries operating similarly right? (both buff spells it seems)
it's massive value, that'S for sure, but Shudderwock has kind of proven that SHaman doesn't necessarily need tons of draw to get a combo deck together.
Then again, I would really love for the elektra + Eureka Malygos combo to be a legit thing...but that'S not going to be a thing as long as Shudderwock is just better in general
This expansion we get so many smart cards. For skillful players, who can build a deck around this mechanics, this card is great. It means, this card will barely see play as most players just want to smork.
funny thing is, it is actualy pretty good in SMOrc/Burn shaman :)
Turn 3: Spirit of the Frog
Turn 4: Haunting Visions, draw Hex (only 4-cost spell), cast either discovered spell or cast Hex, draw Volcano/Bloodlust (depending on build) if Hexwas cast that turn.
But what is really going to separate this card from neat to strong is what Kragwa, the Frog Loa will do.
This seems very powerful. Not sure what the power level is like in Wild but it's hard to imagine that Midrange Shaman won't be a contender with a card that lets it blast you with a string of spells while keeping its hand full.
This card should draw the spell with the same cost from the deck.
1, 2, 3 4 5
Shaman's trying to combo but they already died
6, 7, 8 9 10
Back to playing Shudderwock again
Can't help but feel this card is a little overpriced
Interesting mechanic, should've cost 2
Have a feeling they made it 3 instead of 2 to avoid it making it to the even shaman deck?
How do you play this in even shaman? play spirit, play a 2 mana spell, look at your screen 10 sec, unistall.
so which 3 mana spell are you running in your Even shaman? Kappa
@xervion15
Yeh, I'm not sure what I was initially thinking with my even shaman arguement
But I still do think 3 mana is over the top for this card
It is stealth for 1 turn... so you can play it, have it stay over, and then do a 10 mana turn with 1,2,3,4
I understand its mechanics, and I understand it's a great way to fish for spell cards; however their mana cost is increased too
I do think 3 mana is over the top for this one, it is still an interesting card though
