Priest buffed
At least he knows he was right
I mean, it seems good, until you start facing priests. Depending on what the meta looks like post-release, I can see this card getting some play, especially if the rumored BGH nerf ends up happening.
"WHY YOU NO FOLLOW THE RULES?!"
thats genius
100 Dust PogChamp
In some parallel universe he can be a playable card.
He'll definitely be played, 7/7 for 5 Mana is extremely good.
He obviously doesn't go in every or even most decks, but in a specific situations there's a lot of value here. The devs even said he basically broke the game at 4 Mana.
@primalthirst it is 7/7 for 5 mana only if opponent doesnt have minions on the board, or this minion can be traded for free. Ability to play this minion on curve depends on 4 drops and their stickiness
Something that immediately springs to mind in say Warlock is Turn 4 Doomsayer + Life Tap to properly use your Mana into Turn 5 Validated Doomsayer or in a deck that has powerful early game you take control then Turn 4 Sen'jin Shieldmasta (or other solid 4 drop Taunt) into Turn 5 Validated Doomsayer
No-one is expecting this card to be played from behind except as a desperate stopgap measure. But it's the type of card that turns a small early game advantage into a powerful midgame one.
After some thoughts i think Validated Doomsayer can become something like new Fel Reaver, but with this card you need to pay more attention to the board so it can find some place in zoo.
5 mana 7/7 Battlecry: Can't be targeted by Big Game Hunter until the start of your next turn.
Lol, can be targeted by almost anything including minions on board without trading. Just a tempo win for 5 mana if you're behind, not good enought.
it's true, but I think they are going to nerf BGH in some way, so we have to see what will come from that.
Maybe BGH will never be a asshole again.
Sounds terrible honestly
but it still so annying you have to focuse him when played against you and i guess if it enters the meta i will play with Crazed Alchemist
The devs said that at 4 Mana he basically broke the game in testing.
I could actually see this becoming a decent replacement for Fel Reaver in Aggro Druids. It completely avoids BGH for a turn to smack face, and you can easily Innervate it out to avoid any and all Cabals. Besides, it's not like 1 card or class hard countering something ever stopped a card/deck from being viable (Freeze Mage/Control Warrior?).
Oh shit, this is going to be huge Silence Bait.
Got Cabal Shadow Priest? Come to mama!
