It's going to be a great card for new players, it's not like all the cards have to be game-breaking like Mad Scientist..
All the hate and it is still better than Bolvar Fordragon. Good card. Just not good in the current meta.
Boulderfist Ogre is sad..
Rather they made it a smaller minion Maybe a 1/4 for 3 with the same Combo
This card will not see play. As of right now, it doesn't fit into any Rogue decks. Even if Control Rogue becomes a new archetype, I still doubt we'll ever see Shadow-Pan Cavalry in constructed.
It's basically a conditional Boulderfist Ogre that has the potential to be 1-mana cheaper. You need 2 cards to make him a Boulderfist Ogre on turn 5, whether that be with the Coin or another 0-mana card like Backstab. The problem is, he's deadweight if you don't manage to combo him out. 3/7 is terrible stats for a 5-mana drop and he is also vulnerable to silence.
I think he'll have decent value in arena, but he will never see play in constructed mode.
Turn 4, coin and a 6 7 OMG :) I want a control deck
Or on any turn where you would use removal and/or any other low cost card prior to this card anyway... E.G. They have a low health minion on the board, you Deadly Poison to kill it then also benefit from the combo of this. Its a solid card. People just always have to trash-talk new cards because it doesnt fit their favorite decks.
You're also forgetting plays like Backstab, Preparation into Blade Flurry, etc etc and so on
I'm wondering if you play rogue at all
I laughed so hard on this xD
good one
I see 2 situations where this is good. Coin on turn 4 or backstab + this on turn 5.
This card is SICK!
You can get a 6/7 on turn 4 with the coin... Now that's some tempo.
I actually kinda like it, especially since you can't BGH it (and there are shitloads of them running around, thanks Dr Balanced!)
Bolvar 2.0
He's better than Bolvar, imo
Why so many downvotes? He's basically an improved Bolvar that is more silence resistant, easier to activate and a better top deck.
Finally we get another Panda! Youthful Brewmaster and Ancient Brewmaster have been soaking up the glory too long
legends don't count for us plebs
I dont think its great for the longevity of the game giving a lot of redundant cards or mediocre a cards. Maybe its not healthy for the game that if you are a new player you can open a pack here and get a lot of cards that already exist in a better form in another expansion or may not work in the current meta.
