- You can get ANY spell from your opponent's class, it doesn't need to be in their deck.
Battlecry: Add 2 random spells to your hand (from your opponent's class).
They call him "Blackwing" because he's a black dragon...... and he's got wings.

Should still be pretty decent outside of the Rogue matchup
Well i really like this card it probibly wont be used in too many competitive decks but its still pretty good it gives you cards that are materialized from nowhere and you don't have to wait on them yesera can be better because its harder to remove but you still get instant value out of it.
And it is not a spell thought steal tacked on thoughtsteal is from your opponents deck this is from their class so even if your against a mech mage that runs no flamestrikes you can still get a flamestrike if im reading this right.
I can definately see him used in some dragon decks since the dragon synergy will likely lack card draw and having a big one in your had just sitting there to gain effects isnt useless Yesera might be a better choice but you might want to run both and who knows with the cards i can see theres alot of strong 3-5 drops and better with dragon synergy so we might see the meta shift to a more midrange/tempo meta and we will see less BGH.
It should have a boulderfist ogre body+1 and cost 8 (+2 mana costa for 2 random spells, +1 health and the new synergy with "on your hand mechanic"). Safe from BGH, but unable to deal with kaboom and bots by himself, forcing the player to use one of the new spells to clear the board.
Ahh yes... The Destroyer of Worlds...
-'s Son
Not another BGH target!
9 mana drop should singlehandedly win you a game. He doesn't really do that.
The good thing about thoughsteal is that you tend to gets with good quality. With this you could end up getting some really crappy spells like totemic might, moonfire. And like thoughsteal, you might end up getting shield bash. And unlike thought steal, you can get demonic sacrifice, at which point you just laugh at your opponent.
shield bash and demonic sacrifice are pretty situational, i must agree
I love it. RANDUIN HERE I COME
In all honesty, this card should really only be played if there's a severe weakness to mage. Mage spells are some of the most effective and versatile spells in the game. With mage, there are essentially NO WHIFFS (like Shield Slam or Blade Flurry)

This is not a bad card, but I can't see myself playing it over Ysera.
1) The body is easier to remove. On top of being a BGH target, this minion has 8 health. 8 damage is quite easy to deal at this stage of the game, but 12 is another story.
2) Nefarian is a lot less threatening. Ysera cannot be ignored, because her player will continue building an advantage after she's played. She can force her opponent to trade a lot of minions, bait a hard removal/silence, or simply win you the game because your opponent doesn't have a proper answer. Nefarian can be blocked by a taunt and even ignored in many cases. Ysera forces your opponent to react while Nefarian doesn't.
3) Nefarian gives you weaker cards than Ysera. Dream cards vary from over-the-top value minions to game-winning spells. Even when Nefarian gives you good spells, those will almost never be as good as dream cards. Comparing two random spells to a dream card isn't in favor of Nefarian, because of the high amount of low value spells. If Ysera survives one turn, which often happens, the comparison becomes even more unfair.
The only advantage I see to Nefarian is his unpredictability. In very rare cases, you can get the exact cards you need for lethal the next turn. He also gives you the spells immediately, which allows you to play them in the same turn. Too bad you already spent 9 mana which leaves you with very little options. Those small things don't justify playing him over Ysera imo.
Jesus get a room you guys
Haha that's true! I'm upset when my Ysera gets hexed. However the removal spell will be gone if you play for example Tirion the turn after. I sometimes sacrifice the big minion I need the least, to make sure the second one doesn't get removed. Sylvanas is a better card for this though, her 6 mana cost doesn't lose you too much tempo compared to the 9 of Ysera.
It' a 9 mana 8/8 with a nerfed version of Thoughtsteal latched on. The ability just seems very lackluster for a 9 mana minion.
seems alittle slow but looks really fun, def gonna try this card as soon as I get it!
9 mana 8/8? that isn't Alex? unplayable, dies to BGH.
This dragon is awesome in the lore it should be a 10 mana 6/12.
It is more of a "9 mana copy 2 spells from your opponent's class", and the body is just a bonus. (Plus it is a dragon, so triggering dragon synergies.)
Nefarian has a chance of pulling out force of nature and savage roar vs druids! Pretty unlikely though :p
you could have a time reversal spare part and try again LOL
This will be a lot of fun in RanduinWrynn I guess
I hate this card's design. This is one of the worst designs for a card yet. It'll be used in a ton of ladder decks because the chances of getting something ridiculous are high and THERE IS NO WAY TO PLAY AROUND THIS. It has so much ridiculous value that even if you get the worst 2 spells possible, you still get an advantage over your opponent, assuming that youre not under a lot of pressure in which case you shouldnt even be throwing down a 9 drop to begin with. It takes a lot of skill and prediction out of the game and just adds more stupid RNG. LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, INTRODUCING DR. BOOM 2. I really hate the design of thoughtsteal for the same reasons, but this has somehow managed to be worse because the cards are guaranteed spells which on average are much higher value than minions and you can get spells your opponent doesnt even have in their deck.
