Cope of Quel'Thalas
If it were faster, it would be utterly toxic. As a Hunter, you should not need this kind of buff during the early game.
You take one medium-bad turn with this, and the rest of the game is nuts.
But it comes out so late......I really don't know about this one.
You can't even build around this. Hunter has no Upgrade! It has no Cavern Shinyfinder, or Corsair Cache. Hoard Pillager isn't in standard. There is no way to exploit this effect more than just what it is. That's not good enough.
Class identities are getting mixed. This is too slow anyways.
I don't hate the effect (if it buffs everything inc. summoned tokens), but this is way too expensive.
It would be better if the weapons stats were lowered and it was cheaper, as it is I doubt it sees a lot of successful play.
Ugly and non-playable.
I don't often comment on these, but this is, without question, the worst Hearthstone card ever printed.
Do you seriously believe this to be worse than The Mistcaller?
At least you get to deal 4 damage right away with this.
Ok, so, "wherever they are" is like the old Disciple of C'Thun and co right? It buffed every C'thun you'd have anywhere. If you added a copy to your hand with the 8 drop it'd keep all the buffs for example. If I understand this right the weapon gives +1/+1 to all your minions for the rest of the game including tokens. So animal companions, hydra heads, wildseeds, bear cubs, etc.
I think this is pretty good. All your minions are that much harder to remove and hit that much harder. It's kind of weak tempo if you don't have a board, but as hunter your opponent's the one trying to survive you, usually. Even if you're behind you can drop a fat mountain bear with 20 health of taunt the next turn. I'd run this in beast hunter.
Edit: also, for beast hunter, turn 6 is usually the turn after you've played Aralon, pet collector, a discounted 7 drop beast, or a sunken saber. Your big powerful swings. I think it's pretty likely you'll have the breathing room for this.
Similiar to Rhok'delar which saw no play.
Yes it did... no minion hunter was a thing for a while in the period this was in play. And you obviously ran it in that deck.
Where the hell do you think you are going Blizzard?
Seems like something you would run against decks like Control Warrior. It's so slow against everything else though...
4 mana is the standard cost for a 4/2 weapon, then we are paying 2 extra mana to buff our minions everywhere, even if we don’t have a board
I'll test it anyway, but not convinced by “attack” hunter archetype
not even +2/1
Time to skip hunter class this expansion
Not saying how it will play out in today hearthstone, but it is a powercreep version of the handbuff mechanic of Grimmy Goons during MSG days..
blizzard devs love retreading archetypes until they work once, the difference is it already did with paladin so I dunno why they are expanding hand buff more
This looks really slow. At least it's not just buffing one random minion in your hand (hello, Grimy Goons!), but by the time you play this, druids are on 16 mana and doing really bonkers things.
I don't know... on the one hand, I really don't want to be facing the hunter that plays this, and on the other hand, as a hunter main, I'm not instantly excited to put this in my deck.
which standart archetype needs those cards?...
This expansion feels like all the class identities were rotated by Silas Darkmoon
