Brawl: Too Many Portals
After a minor technical blip, this week's Tavern Brawl is Too Many Portals! You can play as any class and your deck is filled up with Unstable Portal. This is much like the Webspinner brawl we saw a few weeks ago. Discuss this brawl over on our Tavern Brawl forums.
Note: We've had to update our client to the latest patch before the correct brawl appeared.
Low Mana Legendaries are so interesting.
Blizzard said that they're going to rotate the tavern brawl mode. Meaning that at some point it will re-start from the first tavern brawl mode and so on...
Very good 3 drop stats and some great rogue/pally/mech synergies on these new cards, eydis seems like a really powerful card.
play her then conceal and you've already got great value and then you can wail on the opposition next turn.
IMO, Eydis is better than Fjola. Not only is Eydis a bit faster, but if you're going to target with a spell, it's like a Pseudo-Windfury. If either of them see play, my guess is that Eydis will be preferred, unless the meta slows down, in which case Fjola will probably be better.
whoa I actually really like these legendaries.... silent knight on the other hand blows, I guess it might be OK in arena but even in arena not that good
Not sure why most people dislike that card. I think Silent Knight is a well-designed minion. You play it on T3, buff its attack on T4 and clear a minion from your opponent with the Knight surviving. It's like Lightbane on a budget.
Sure if you darkiron or something it will have great value, but if you don't, you can just fall behind on board as a stealthed shielded mini bot for 3 mana isnt very good.
It is a beautiful little baby waiting to be buffed the next turn, or whenever the hell you feel like it. That card will be powerful and seen quite often in certain decks. This is my guess.
I want to play Warlock but already have a Golden one. Don't make my wins less important by giving me an awesome warlock legendary!
Assuming that most streamers have gotten a card to show, I wouldn't be surprised. Although he will likely get a common neutral like everyone else.
Piloted Shredder is a neutral common.
Everyone is saying these Legendary cards are priest and paladin specific when they haven't seen the rest of the cards in the expansion...? You guys are clearly ignoring that Blizzard loves synergy within expansions/adventures....
I am a gold priest player, and even I am not so sure. I'm excited to see synergies.
Shaman might fit them in their decks as well.
Play Lightbane. Next turn play Rockbiter, kill a minion, play Windfury, kill another minion, then play Ancestral Healing and make Lightbane a Sunwalker.
Of course, you currently don't see much Windfury/Ancestral Healing, but one can hope.
This is a good example.
They can add a decent number of buff spells, but obviously not an insane amount. All it takes is one or two cards to open up the playing field for another class.
I guess you want to play Darkbane with Spare Parts - small buffs you can spam a lot - and Lightbane with attack buffs to trade up like Rockbiter Weapon, King's, Might, Velen's.
I imagine Darkbane will get more attention as small buffs work better with her and bigger buffs always are more vulnerable to silence. If a deck pops up, that heavily utilizes spare parts and already has enough 3-drops, it might only run Darkbane - but other than that I guess you would run both.
Edit: Fixed minion name. "Nightbane" would make so much more sense to me.
Fjola seems great!
Not sure about the other two though.
Yesterday was buffsday!
3200 dust gone
well yeah, these two are probably a must have
Let's go warlocks we got this :D hope this is a good one
