Any idea if Shattershambler‘s cost reduction makes it possible to draw a deathrattle minion that originally costed (5) with Sketchy Information?
Unless an effect specifically says "reduce the mana cost of a card(s) in your deck" then all cards retain their original mana costs until they are in your hand. So, no.
Kinda disappointed, as a Rogue main.
Jackpot!is support for Tess which I love, but feels too expensive at 2 mana, It could easily cost 1 mana.
Shattershambler is support for naval mine deck, but don't trust the hype, this deck is absolute garbage.
Inkveil Ambusher Is a solid 2drop but I don't really what this really fits into. I guess another tempo card for pirate rogue?
Still I was expecting more for Rogue.
Inkveil is gonna need to be addressed in arena imo, gangplank is the best card by a large margin and this thing is 3 mana less? Gangplank got bucket changed to be a rare find despite being a common, and it still just runs away with games on its own due to lack of removal in arena. Cards that punish minion combat feel really shitty to play in a format where your deck is 28 minions and 2 spells.
Sadly i think they missed a big opportunity with Jackpot, because why don't make it discover? Would be much better and would really fit the rouge thief style (miss Tempo, but plan crazy stuff). I mean come on Blizzard it called Jackpot not somtetimes Highroll! Make it cost more mana if it is to strong or only one Spell but seems not like a jackpot.
Last thing this game needs is more discover. So many current state of game problems can be traced back to discover and targeted draw.
Jackpot! looks to be good in a Swiftscale Trickster deck.
It is not. If you know HS, this is RNG. Which is "fun" for someone (I still don't know who likes random crap with low win/rate deck) and frustrating for someone else. Anyway, it is not competitive, because random cannot give you a decent win/rate, and if you have also to pay it 2 mana, even wrost.
Shattershambler is strong, Inkveil Ambusher is good and Jackpot! is crap.
Anyway, my opinion is the same. Again deathrattle, stealth and burgle in 2022? What an amazing idea here. Maybe something new? Can we have it?
Wild.
i think he's referring to standard
I rest my case.
i cannot wait for the Dane video with Shattershambler
1 Mana, premium stats, elemental tribe, cheats 1 mana, and triggers a deathrattle right away.
Good ol' powercreep. Remember when we used to play the 1/3 mole that didn't do anything other than that?
Shattershambler looks interesting, but... where are the Deathrattles? We've had this Deathrattle package thing going since Stormwind, yet Rogue has only three Deathrattle cards of its own - Apothecary Helbrim (which makes no sense to include in a Deathrattle deck), Tomb Pillager, and Loan Shark, both of which give you coins.
There is still the Naval Mine package.
it may be too slow, but rogue is weird
Wild is going to be a mess obviously, but this is what you can get in Standard: (minus the Rogue cards)

By my count that's 24-ish useful cards and 14-ish AoE cards. With the usefulness going from Drakefire Amulet to Sigil of Reckoning. Wild difference as expected, but mostly positive.
I'm going to guess it's going to be useful in Standard, even if RNG heavy.
feels very wild centric
This could be nice in Wild in Bazaar Burglary quest Rogue.
