Its hard to judge without first trying them out, I know they seem underwhelming but you gotta give a little room for experiment. I literally only play Paladin, for 4 years straight so I know how painful it is for us to get "Fair cards". Lets hope our Legendary class card is amazing
I tried to play paladin, but this class is dead since boomsday. Last playable deck was odd/even, rest is straight up garbage. And I know bad card when I see one, they provide 0 tempo, 0 board swing, and even little threat when played on empty board
This card is super strong if you run some decently high cost spells. It's a weapon, so it's not easy to get rid of and you can set up for next turn, and if you get even a 3/3 off of the spellburst, it's a very good card.
Just because paladin as a class has some issues doesn't make this a bad card. It's good for tempo/aggro decks as well, since it gives you a 6/6 body off of avenging wrath. This will probably be staple in almost any paladin deck; it's easily one of the best cards for paladin in standard.

It's not that great of a card. I would also disagree with "if you get a 3/3 it's good." At the end of the day you're investing two cards into activating this card which is by itself a hefty price to ask for Paladin, a class that has been lacking good draw for a while now.
Avenging Wrath requires that you run Avenging Wrath in your deck. It wasn't that bad with 2 mana Equality but I mean what you're essentially doing is playing a one time only Priestess of Fury and having to set up and pay two cards for it.
Most high cost spells in Paladin simply aren't worth running bar Libram of Hope. People mention Duel Paladin but that is fundamentally a weak concept since it requires you to draw your deck in exactly the right order or lose, in a class which has not had good draw mechanics for a while.
2 attack without any other effects is also not a huge deal, so you really want to abuse the Spellburst portion of this and even in the 4 mana slot your plays are rather questionable. Consec is a good card but comes at the price of losing the ability to AoE (Consec by itself is not very useful anymore against a lot of decks) while Blessing of Kings is usually cut from most decks anyway.
This + First Day of School best tempo NA.
This on curve in combination with the new card steeldancer: Ai Caramba
On turn 5 you have such a huge tempo build damn
This + Steeldancer just creates a 2-drop. I mean, that's decent, 4 mana for a 4/4 and a 2-drop, but it's not mind blowing or necessarily much better than some other weapon would have been with Steeldancer.
But... but... I thought this symbol is gonna be Scooby Doo... now I'm disappointed.
Ah, thanks. So it's not that bad if opponent doesn't have weapon removal.
great card for pure paladin, simple as that
Works well with Libram of Hope
The stats on the summon would drop with the libram discounts though. Wouldn't they?
Not sure but you're still summoning an 8/8 with taunt and divine shield, restoring 8 health plus the taunt body from the weapon. Even a 5/5 or a 6/6 is decent.
This is a pretty good card. It doesn't lose durability in order to summon a minion which means the longer you have it equipped the better it gets. It gives you tons of value if played correctly. You can fill a board with small minions after playing Liadrin I suppose.
Not quite.
Spellburst only works with the first spell you cast after the minion hits the board/Weapon is equipped.
Really? I must have missed it on the patch reveal. So it's basically a battlecry
This changes things then. Not sure if it would be worth replacing the Murloc weapon with this one, since that 3 attack makes it pretty good for the cost
Im Really happy you didnt got flamed.
Have a nice day all
Spellburst - A one time only effect when casting a spell. With a Spellburst minion or weapon in play, casting a spell will activate the Spellburst effect.
It says as long its in play ( so on board, not in hand or deck) and not the same turn the minion got played you need to play a spell. So that means you can hold the Weapon will keep the Spellburst as long you want.
