jesus nerf this stupid card. token druid op. and there won;t be much removals at turn 4-5...
Unlike pretty similar Grim Necromancer, this could have some synergy at least. But I cant see it honestly. Nightmare Amalgam mostly was used for dragons and elementals, and this wont give you neither. Yes, it will synergise with Southsea Captain and Cannon Barrage, with Kill Command, with murlocks, with magnetic mechanic, but it doesn't seem enough to play it.
It could technically be played in tokens, but Grim Necromancer wasnt and its quite the same. I dont know. Maybe synergy with morlocs will be enough, but I doubt
At least it does not summon Silver Hand Recruits
Check rarity of it. Can u realy call it arena card if its gonna be rearly picked.
Arena cards don't show up sorted by rarity anymore - that was changed quite a while ago. By its power level now, I feel like we'll see quite a bit of it in arena, yeah, but with OP expacs like Naxx and WotOG in arena, it might not be worth picking.
Quite tasty Hench-Clan Hag, Zentimo & Earthen Might combo, but is a bit reliant on all combo pieces being there. Might fit in a midrange/control shaman like the below;
cute
This will replace Grim Necromancer as an OK-card in arena. Not more, not less.
Could be used for totems too, I think.
This is really cool, was hoping for more 'all minion type' cards. I'm going to have fun with this in Cannon Barrage Rogue
Nonsense. The fact that they count as totems can be significant in various shaman decks for example.
Nonsense is the fact that hyped netdeckers are trying to find an use in standard for this ARENA card
nonsense is the fact that people in arena would be foolish to risk this being eaten and have their opponnet buff up by hungry crabs etc, not to mention that there would be plenty better epic picks. i didn't like the normal amalgam for that reason.
Potentially good in a variety of decks as long as cards with effects such as "If you control this type of minion, do this" are printed.
This is so cool! Seems really good in tribal-decks, if they get more support, I can't see why this would not go into those decks... The art is cool too!
Very versatile card.
Definitely nice for arena - Maybe it will fit nicely in some shaman deck in constructed.
Overall 4 mana for 5/5 stats it's not completely rubbish.
What a great janky Zoobot and Menagerie Magician wild combo!
But in Standard it could replace rotating out Grim Necromancer in variety of token decks, especially if one can find application for amalgams.
Stat-wise it is already a good card, and with all the tribe synergies it is great. This is one of those cards that tell you "lets build a new deck". I feel that this will enable multiple tribe-based decks.
Can be good in beast hunter or murloc pally
Sadly, Treants are not an actual minion type, just a pseudo-mechanic, like Giants
