That is also what I am hoping for. Old Gods, please hear our call...
I guess Ray of Frost is here to make Icicle suck a little less...
And one day, one guy from Team5 will realize that all these Freeze-cards in Mage only work if enemy minions stay frozen until the end of your next turn. Until then, I doubt this card will see more play than Shatter, Cryomancer, Snap Freeze, Coldwraith and some other cards I couldn't bother looking up.
Rhyssa, on the other hand, is a pretty interesting card. I like it.
I think Peter is referring to Milhouse Manastorm at the end of the video
.
he might be warlock legendary :O EVIL
We already have both Warlock legendaries revealed
HERE IT COOOOOOMES!
And apparently something big and strong was gonna come out
new dragon pala legendary tomorrow morning?
Commander Waa
This card is prob good , since i hate it. And think its insanly boring
No because you can't hit face with this. And it is pretty relevant. Considering that frostbolt most of the time hit face (at least in wild) because mages are mostly aggro.
So for 2 mana you get 1 less damage than frostbolt, but instead you get the versability - can draw 2 card with auchtioner (not that mage do that, but it is a possibility), you can freeze 2 minions (not sure how often that is relevant) or you can deal 4 damage to already frozen minions (a rare scenario i would think).
EDIT: It also lacks flexibility since it can't hit face making it a lot worse than forstbolt.
He needs more exercise and eat more. Sitting in front of the computer all day and being so skinny makes him look like a little goblin.
"Bad card because it dies to removal"
People roll their eyes at the freeze mechanic in general but imagine Mage having a variant of Execute (cards like this one + Snap Freeze) on top of already having access to Polymorph and Voodoo Doll.
Snap Freeze was already thing for a while now and never saw any consideration. Shatter was a thing before that with way more support
Vex Crow is probably the best option to use this with, but that card has been tried before with a similar access to low cost spells and it still wasn't good enough to push an archetype of its own.
now most of the freeze synergy cards are gone anyway, so what is the point?
Compared to all the other Twinspells this is the weakest so far, unless mage gets some insane freeze synergy, but with both legendaries revealed i don't see it happening.
The reason it works is because the artwork makes your secrets triggered.
I don't understand why someone think this LEGENDARY card is "good".
ANY decent removal will transform this card in a BAD Bearshark.
SO HARD to get any value from this, SO SITUATIONAL, some secrets doesn't even get any extra from this, or just an additional 2/1, wow, insane.
Paladin secrets are annoying BUT WEAK, but I'm fine with this, because I hate secret paladin, such a brainless stupid deck.
They just released a new Paladin Secret that works nicely with Rhyssa.
Moreover, the only time Secret Pally has been OP everyone complained about it.
this isn't supposed to be a game winning card.
YOu just play it in a Secret Paladin deck which will often have a couple of secrets out. Bellringe Sentry exists after all.
Also, we just got the new Secret which gives your minions +2 health when they play a spell, making "ANY decent removal" kind of a moot point since if they use any damage spell with less than 7 damage it won't work.
This will be included in Secret Pally whether you like it or not.
