Walking Fountain makes AlAkir look bad, as a common! Powercreep at its finest
Walking fountain makes Alakir look different. They are both good for different reasons.
In the words of Zalae "Who cares if it can't go face?"
Not powercreep. Al'akir can charge and that makes it a very different minion than this.
ok, agree.
damn, i always thought his attack quote is "HEY, WHAT DID HE SAID?"
Just to make sure
Is Muckmorpher going to transform into one of the minions that is still in the deck or is it going to transform into a minion from your whole deck?
Since it says IN you deck and not from your starting deck, I assume it's from what you haven't drawn and including anything you have added in with a Baleful Banker or something.
You could probably look at the Joust mechanic or Spiteful Summoner to get a better feel for how this card will play out.
In Hearthstone when a card says about something in your deck it means the cards that are still there, it isn't something new.
Thoughts from a Wild Malygos Shaman player:
This card might be what pushes deathrattle shaman into playability on the wild ladder. Combined with ancestral spirit, reincarnation, ancestors call, maybe even eureka, there is some potential for insane board swings. Might even be good enough in combination with Barnes, we’ll see.
As for Malygos Shaman I have my doubts. Currently the deck runs Barnes, 2 spirits of the frog, thaurssian, and of course, Malygos. While this card could be a nice addition, it adds a lot of inconsistencies with Barnes, and Barnes is one of if not your best cards. It’s also very difficult to chain a lot of spells with a 5 costing spirit of the frog, which is an insane draw tool and is the only reason the deck has a fighting chance against Aggro. So if I had to guess it won’t make the cut in wild Malygos Shaman.
Don't worry, I'm a native speaker and still had no idea what Al'Akir was saying for the longest time.
finally i know what he's saying :D
thanks for enlightening a non-native speaker!
this makes me want to run Rockbiter Weapon in my shaman decks again
I think what we're really all thinking is...
"WINDS! OBEY MY COMMAND!" "LIKE SWATTING INSECTS!"
You need "LIKE SWATTING INSECTS!" twice.
But you play it too fast and it's like "LIKE SWATTING INS... LIKE SWATTING INSECTS!"
I think its neat how Muckmorpher transforms himself into another minion. which means that you can bounce him back into your hand, and he is still a big minion
It's still a 4/4, you mean.
Walking fountain better or worse than windlord Al'Akir?
Pro:
2 of, more attack and health, lifesteal
Cons:
Rush instead of Charge, no Divine Shield.
Honestly, probably a little better because you can have 2 in the deck, and at Common rarity...
Depends what you use it for. I've used Al'Akir as a finisher pretty often (with Earthen Might most recently). As a stabilizer - it's debatable and has a little to do with your opponent's ability to deal with minions and how.
