Just a Hallucination is This Week's Brawl!
These aren't my beautiful cards, this is not my beautiful deck! Your deck's overflowing with Hallucinations, go see how the other side plays.
Trivia
- This is the third time we've seen this brawl.
- Just a Hallucination made its debut on June 7, 2017.
How it Works
- No deckbuilding this week, you'll be simply choosing a class.
- Be warned! Your class choice will determine the cards your opponent can select. Pick Warlock.
- You start out with 3 mana on your first turn.
- Your deck is filled with random spells from your class and the Rogue spell Hallucination.

too many really good cards
They giving out most recent expansion packs now or was this a fluke?
agreed, i just get my free pack and quit playing it.
warlock n warrior seems good
Warlock cards in general are pretty low value for their mana cost, or just simply aren’t that good on their own, and the hero power makes sure that you keep a healthy supply of cards. Of course there are some good warlock cards and your opponent can snowball if they get good cards (skull of the manari and a bunch of demons per say), but warlock relies on synergies so if you get skull of the manari and no big demons, that’s five mana waisted
I tried this. One time I too was lucky with Dragon Soul. The next 2-3 gave my opponents multiple Malganis, and the 6/6 who adds a random demon to your hand.
That against random discover with little to no ways for board clear make me thing they lied when they said warlock is the worst possible pick.
Is it normal to get a RR pack and not a classic one from this brawl? I hope this is not a new trend - still missing a lot of classic cards.
When your opponent gives you garbage mage classes and you're in doubt of winning, ditch the tempo game and start chucking everything at face and hope your opponent can't stabilize. Easiest Pyro + Explosive Runes finish (bypassing their discovered Ice Block) of my life.
Really loved this brawl :D I was playing warlock vs a druid and I got insane picks!
Twig of the World Tree on turn 4, Jade package plus Fandral Staghelm,Aviana and Kun the Forgotten King xD
That was really wild!
Also, got Mojomaster Zihi from the pack.. something is wrong because I've never been so lucky in this game.
First game against a mage as a warlock.
I discover Frost Lich Jaina, my opponent gets Dreadsteed (RIP btw) from Bane of Doom. Well, let's just say it wasn't hard to make Water Elementals.
as true as the term "blizzard is still a company."
On the plus side, in this Brawl even Druid can perform somewhat well. Better get those quests done while it lasts.
Love the Talking Heads reference, I'd give it a +1 if I could.
Druid
Played against rogue, got Spectral Cutlass. Opponent surrendered with my 4/12 weapon.
Why the hell would you choose rogue in this brawl?
I chose rogue every brawl I could until I got to level 60 with the class (almost never played rogue on ladder) which just happened recently.
Because you got really lucky by getting the Cutlass and in general Rogue is a crap class to discover from. Most cards require combos and/or specific spells/cards to make full use of, something you wouldn't usually be able to get via a couple discovers. Most removals (Vanish, Sap) aren't true removals and merely buy time. Most Rogue minions by themselves are nothing to write home about until you factor in their combo effects, battlecries and deathrattles tend to be situational.
My advice: try not to pick a class with multiple hero cards to discover in this low-tempo brawl. I got stomped by Hagatha followed by (after he played through all his minions) Thrall DK, and then next game stomped my new opponent with Garrosh DK into Hero 7.
Nice surprise! Not a classic pack or one from an old expansion, thanks.
Brawl itself is meh.
People who pick mage or paladin LOL.
