Discuss This Week's Brawl
Head on over to our forums for our dedicated tavern brawl discussion thread!
if you get brushwood centurian, just concede, save you the time it takes for you to inevitably lose anyway
Very boring TB this week, was hoping for more of the cooler bosses, cause these are all lame af. The only fun match I had was BWG vs BWG, in a race to see who could kill themselves first.
Azalina is by far the best deck :D never lost playing it, never won against it. It's both the best aggro and control deck of the bosses. Also, Brushwood is by far the worst of the bosses. You can never really do much until it's too late.
I enjoy this brawl, but some balance is necessary for it to be fun experience. We've had brawls in the past, ahem sindragosa, where one class just demolishes all the others, and that pretty dumb and unfun. I think could have definitely tried a tiny bit harder to make it so classes in this brawl are more balanced- for example there is one hero with double battlecries as a symmetric effect and a bunch of negative battlecry minions, which is basically an autolosing proposition. Other than that I really enjoy the amount of new stuff in the brawl
Greetings Travelers! I had a lot of fun playing this brawl. I would like to share few moments of my gameplay, if you're interested. Cheers!
Incredibly insufferable. Tavern Brawl should be reserved to be a crazy rule constructed mode
I like this brawl a lot, I hope they do a similar for dungeon run bosses.
Very fun brawl but you need a bit of luck to get a decent match-up. Some of the times you know from round 1 that you have no chance.
Balanced or not, its a fun brawl with many weird interactions. If you go into it not caring if you win or lise, youll have fun. Seems most of the posters dont care for fun though, lol.
As a mediocre Hearthstone player, fun > winning.
Come on, this is Hearthpwn. You should know Rule #1:
The murloc deck is pretty weak to shudder, you can just mill them by turn 5
I think i just got the best pack from a brawl after that time when I opened Sylvanas before she went to hall of fame. This time I got a really nice golden Malygos! Thanks Blizz and rngesus!
Pretty happy with the event, bought the promotion pack got houndmaster on 20th pack plus 1540 dust more, then got a horrible draft at arena free ticket, 0-3 bam opened zerek, went with the brawl and got another legendary - thinkmaster, funny thing was that my boomsday pity timer was 0 and on classic was on 2 :)
Bye, Felicia!
Milled the merloc dood to death turn 4 as shudderwock.
Got a Hogger from free pack :D
Brawls are fun! :)
I know you people suffer from Odd Paladin so if I play as or against Azalina I just concede. 2 silver hands is pretty hard to beat and you make it 3? so balance haHAA
That murloc deck was insane. Quest, a bunch of murlocs, 2 of the 3 mana spells that gives you a murloc when your murlocs die, and anyfin can happen. They just couldn't keep the board cleared.
Why do people expect balance with every game or every mode that we get? In a format like tavern brawl where the specific flavors come & go, lasting only a few days, it's just a waste to change the decks/rules that much when by the time the effects would roll in the brawl is almost over anyway.
Plus, there is no competitive element to this format since it lacks any rewards that would say otherwise. Imo balance is reserved for competitions not for fun modes.
