I can only imagine this being run in something even and control, wherever that archetype might be. Any other control deck probably doesn't want to pay 6 mana for a weak body and an extra copy of a spell in their deck, assuming they do highroll, and you definitely don't want a 6 mana card in your aggro or tempo deck with only 7 stats, especially one giving you a RANDOM spell that can't assure going face or clearing board, while also taking up half your turn twice. You get the point, this card is hard to run anywhere except the possible Even Control deck, which I still debate on the viability of.
Hmm. This might be worth running in Big Spells Reno in wild. Another Meteor, Blizzard, Flamestrike, Dragon's Fury could be good. I'm not sold on it so far though...
DRUIDSTONE INCOMING!
This will find UI and they will kill you after that. FIX BLIZZARD!
... isn't this how we rate cards this expansion?
Almost, just go and make a forum post of how the entire state of the game is killed by this card being printed then I think you did it.
Haha, I will remember that the next time Blizzard release a card that will help druid destroy the meta. :-D
the stat penality on this card.. just wow.. discover a card have 1-2 mana penality, this has a 3 mana penality... it's too UP
For those interested.
These filter settings should display all 'current' possibilities (and auto update once the expansion has been released).
I suppose very strong draws + AOE can seriously help you, while some of the class specific ones can ruin the picks.

Its actually pretty strong card, because It gives you chose of pretty small pull of 5+ manacost spells. So you have additional copy of specific card, that you dont want in 2 copies (but really want in some type of game), or maybe just card, that you want right now. Its almost guaranteed Siphon/Twisted in warlock, brawl in warrior, Spellstone/Vulcano/bloodlust in shaman, sprint/assassinate/vanish in rogue, spellstope/crushing walls/to my side in hunter, UI/Plague in druid (last one not so guaranteed tho). This card gives you really flexible late game. Also it can give you some additional copy of legendary spell if your deck based on it.
Yeah, its slow and not really consistent, but its very flexible. I guess we will see it in some control decks for sure. Pretty sure about warlock at least
This actually might be good to run in Rogue with Academic Espionage. The pool of 5+ mana spells is tiny, so you're pretty much guaranteed to discover Sprint or Myra's Unstable Element, and since the cards you draw will be 1-mana you're not losing tempo. And unlike putting Sprint in your deck directly, this minion can be copied using Lab Recruiter, allowing you rediscover Sprint over and over again.
I like this card. Hopefully 3/4 body on 6 mana isn’t that much of a downside
maybe you run this in an even deck to get an odd spell?
A 3/4 body is worth 3 mana, so the big question is "when is 3 mana worth a third copy of a spell?" Obviously good in a Shaman deck if it wants three Volcanos, and obviously good in a heavy control Warlock deck if it wants lots of extra removal. Hunter and Rogue have small enough discover pools with this effect that, if any prove to be massively valuable in the new meta, you might be willing to spend 3 to get a third copy.
Also seems useful in Minion Mage, since you don't want to run spells, won't lose this to Book of Specters and will almost always get AOE from the discover effect.
It probably did but they realized it was too good in token shaman because it kept beating the juicy melon druid
I'm thinking about it, and imo this is really only worth if getting that extra copy of a spell is vital to your gameplan. Otherwise, just put that spell in your decklist instead of relying on RNG since the minion is highly mediocre.
To me it doesn't seem that viable in any other class but perhaps Shaman.
Best candidate imo is Kangor's Eternal Army in Paladin, since as is Paladin could do with a value grind using this card. but there are actually a fairly high amount of high costed Paladin spells that dilute the discover pool.
Maybe some kind of Control Priest could use it - their discover pool is good along with Mage, although Priest currently doesn't lack for additional high costed removal since Shadow Visions does that already. As for Mage...I don't think Big Spell really needs to put a third Meteor in their deck. Druid...again, I think they'd love a third Spreading Plague as an anti-aggro card, but there are quite a few spells that I don't think you want from this, notably UI no. 3+, Webweave, Living Mana, Force of Nature. Also not quite sure what you'd take out for this. The others I really don't see why you'd want a third copy of a spell.
Shaman currently has just 3 spells over 5; Bloodlust, Volcano, and the Spellstone. While Shudder could certainly do with a third Volcano, perhaps this may clog the hand way too much with expensive spells that are hard to get rid of that could be detrimental against a Control opponent, especially with Hagatha up.
Edit: Also realized this lets you discover Bloodlust in Even Shaman, although doubtful on that because the tempo loss is so big. And thanks, forgot about Eureka.
Родная речь!
If we get another control heavy meta, with high cost legendary spells, this card could find a home
Definitely a shaman card!
The spell cost needed to be reduced for this to be relevant
