Can not wait for Dane to get HOLD of this card along with the rest of this expansion!!
Also Malygos HOF is certain with all new reveals. They keep supporting that blue dragon.
First Flobbidinous Floop, then spell damages for mage, then Eureka I really wonder if warlock or even hunter will get a Malygos support too.
imagine cubing a big boi then playing this x2 with valeera the hollow, the ultimate value card. great potential but slow
Why everyone call all the time "blizzard is pushing for ..."
They are making some posibilities for every classes. There is wild, you know that ?
The game is not about only standard. DR was one of rogue's mechanic already. Also this is not pushing. this is variety.
Stop telling that blizzard is pushing something.
"oh blizzard is pushing for discard warlock"
"oh blizzard is pushing for taunt warrior"
"oh blizzard is pushing for deathrattle priest"
"oh blizzard is pushing for beast druid"
"oh blizzard is pushing for taunt druid"
"oh blizzard is pushing for divine paladin"
"oh blizzard is pushing for control hunter"
"oh blizzard is pushing for totem shaman"
.

.
Stop it!
It seems you want a barren game which only have face hunter, miracle rogue, control warrior, tempo mage, Midrange Shaman, ramp druid, combo priest, Aggro Paladin, Controlock.
There's nothing wrong with saying that blizzard is pushing certain archetypes. The design philosophy so far has been to give each class some thematic mechanics and options and sometimes that involves printing new cards for an existing archetype.
Take discard in warlock for example. Discard used to be a drawback similar to self damage with no synergistic elements until they printed fist of jaraxxus, then silverware golem and malchzaar's imp which means blizzard developed cards for a single archetype over multiple expansions. That is the definition of pushing an archetype - when they print extra support for an existing archetype or mini-archetype.
I don't think it was "pushing". This is a term which new generation players creates or fudged.
Because they don't know about a completed game. It is one of the mistake of new consumer world too. They want to consume quick and searching new stuff to consume.
It will end some day and some of us want to play the completed game and i believe they will continue to play. So those stuff which you called "pushing" will be variety for them so that's not pushing. What i said is related to this.
That's a different game type but think about Age of Empires, or Warcraft 3. Some people are still enjoying to play with friends to those games.
Ok There is nothing wrong with saying that blizzard is pushing certain types. You can say that but it is a wrong term for a game. They are designing classes. Also noone can say that "taunts for druid, really blizzard?" or if it will be ramp for priest for example "Now blizzard giving ramp to priest? " because it is their game. They are deciding how the game will be like. We liked it so we are playing it.
If you don't like, you always have an option to not play. No-one forces you to play.
Even if its a bit late, Blizzard is finnaly giving support for Deathrattle Rogue this expansion. this card in question seems pretty decent, you can double trigger your Kobold Illusionist for some short of combo, can steal good stuff from your opponent on turn 7 with Preparation + this on your Sylvannas. i'm totally gonna find a home for this one in one of my wild decks.
Different classes and 2 cards in 1.
This is it! Finally I love u Blizzard. My long awaited deck is viable :D:D:D:D:D:D
Kobold Illusionist + this = two Malygos for 9 mana. Adding a Preparation will be 6 mana for spell damage +10, so it's already a little scary even as it costs 5 now. Blizzard must have considered the balance issue before giving it a seemingly-high mana cost.
crazy.insane.
Yea, Blightnozzle Crawler is probably reason why this card is overcosted. For 4 or 3 mana + Preparation you would have double removal for 4 or 5 mana + 2/4 body with additional removal, much better than Vilespine Slayer, so I'm fine with this card.
Cool support for DR rogue, but why does it have to be 5? :(
I guess Devilsaur Egg -> Prep -> Necrium Vial is kinda cool on turn 5 but thats much more difficult to pull off than Play Dead
I think it will be OP if it's less than 5 because of Preparation. Imagine a turn 4 egg with 2 5/5 devilsaur.
there are OTK possibilities guys I swear
Twice people, TWICE!!!
Deathrattles are better left to the Hunter and the Priest
Wow, this is insane......garbage. It's like "play dead+play dead+draw a card" effect. So why is it cost 5 instead of 3? Especially considering that rogue doesn't have good deathrattle minions
5 mana for play dead 2x on 1 card? reason that play dead is played is that it is cheap this is dust
It really seems that Blizzard has a hard time finding a identity for rogue. They've tried with so many rogue related deathrattle cards but they just don't work. The reason is simply that rouge can't play that value game consistently as they play the tempo game so much better. But I may be wrong here and deathrattle rouge might find a place in the meta.
Is Preparation limiting design space? Because 5 mana seems like a lot compared to what hunter can do. However, if it costed 3 or 4 you could probably pull off some insane combos with preparation.
