So many Negative opinions about this card with very little information regarding synergistic possibilities. I like the idea behind the design for it, we'll just have to wait and see what else comes out with the expansion.
The thing is that even with synergy there are currently better options in the form of AI. What form of synergistic card that uses 'right-most' wording would work better with Luna and work worse with AI?
This card reminds me of the odd & even specific cards in WW. Sure, for some classes the theme worked, but mostly in the form of the hero power changes themselves, not in the form of the odd and even specific cards in most cases.
I feel that this is what will happen with the 'right-most' theme if there are more cards like it to be revealed. Some cards may work, but Luna isn't going to be one of them when we have so much better card draw options that don't require any setup.
If anything 'right-most' mage may become a thing, but will forego Luna for AI.
Your thought process is so linear. You cant possibly know that without waiting for the rest of the cards to be released. Its also worth mentioning that Luna has a 2/4 body where as AI makes you lose tempo if you're forced to play it early.
And yet so many here are so insistent on it being a good card. Nobody has any form of evidence atm that it is good. You can't just say that people who say that it is trash are wrong and that people who say that it is good are right. With the knowledge we have up to this point the card is garbage, so at the moment people who are saying it is bad are correct for now. There is no disputing that.
The 2/4 body is almost meaningless. In Burn Mage Kirin Tor + a secret is 100% more of a strong tempo push than Luna plus a spell. In control mage or Big Spell Mage you want to keep your drawing to a minimum versus many control decks because that just puts you behind in the fatigue race, plus both of those decks generally have many more expensive cards that you're trying to squeeze value from. Those decks aren't going to want to blow their value on digging themselves deeper into fatigue with Luna.
Call my thought process linear, but I actually have played these decks a lot and know what you don't want to be doing if you're trying to actually win.
It's seriously like none of you have ever played against a burn mage with Aluneth... play the cheap cards and get more cheap cards.
How are we still underrating multiple draws in 2018?
You made your own counterargument. It's a great card.... when Aluneth isn't around. The question is, isn't Aluneth better? This card is better the turn you play it, but Aluneth is far better every other turn after that.
Why do that when you can, you know, actually keep your burn and tempo cards instead of cutting one of them for a low tempo card that does little to melt your opponent's face until the mid or even late game?
Are you honestly going to cut something like runes, counterspell, any of your much better tempo/glass cannon minions, or even an AI just for Luna? I know I won't. All of the minions currently in the WW Burn Mage are much more valuable at applying pressure than potentially giving up tempo for a turn just to draw 1-2 extra cards.
Aluneth provides more than enough of a reload to carry the burn assault.
may be 1 Arcane Intellect for this. Cost the same but you have a 2/4 body with a soft taunt and you can draw at least 1 card with this. If they don't remove it they will suffer.
As always, Hearthpwn community doesn't know what the fuck they're talking about. XD
This is always my favorite part of a new expansion - the community immediately and inevitably deeming certain cards garbage without even bothering to think what can be done with them, only for them to be used by pros post-release.
Be convincing then. What exactly do you propose that this card does in a non-burn mage deck, that Arcane Intellect doesn't already do?
Most slow mage decks don't want to be comboing a bunch of their cards in hand to waste on digging a couple of cards deeper in their deck. You'll often by throwing your cards away to do so.

Seems like a nice to have kind of card. Guess Blizzard needs to pad out the legendaries anyway.
Mage legendary spell will have Echo

What if I told you that you can run both.

This works well with echo
Kay.
Which mage decks are currently running any echo cards?
Funny thing about new expansions is that it means new decks too
Calm down Lyra.
nobody knows what’s gonna be good.
more than 115 cards left to be reveal
Is it just me who is waiting for some kind of Angry Chicken support?
We got Deathstalker Rexxar, we arent due again until 2020.

I'm serious.
Apparently there is some deeper insight as to why Control Mage, Big Spell Mage, or Elemental Minion Mage wants this card badly.
Wow me Senpai.
