- Pre-order - Contains 70 card packs for the price of 40. You also get a card back.
- 135 new cards - No surprises there!

You can find the official Hearthstone page for The Witchwood here.
New Cards
The cards are not yet in our database. We're working on getting the site ready for the new expansion.
- The Hero Power upgrade from Baku the Mooneater is the same as the one from Justicar Trueheart. (Source)
Card Backs
There are two new card backs. The first is available with the expansion pre-order and the second is a reward from Monster Hunt.
Monster Hunt
- Works like Dungeon Run in that you play a hero against bosses and build a deck as you progress.
- Does not use normal Hearthstone heroes, this has four unique characters.
Below are pictures of the Cannoneer, Houndmaster, Time Tinkerer, and Tracker heroes from Monster Hunt.
New Gameboard
As always, Hearthstone is getting a new game board with the expansion.
hey Fiery Win Axe cost 3 now Kappa
So Charged Devilsaur and Unstable Evolution will now get Rush and Echo respectively?
Not sure about Unstable Evolution, but Charged Devilsaur is confirmed no change.
Confirmation
So it begins...
They could change patches to have rush now.
Kappa
Omg!!!!!! New quest card hype!!!!! Maybe......
It's confirmed the Shaman card is the only hero card that will be released in this expansion.
User: will there be more hero cards?
Ben Brode: Just the one we half-spoiled in the announcement video. :)
I really think Baku can fit into a face hunter.
Specially since many key hunter cards cost 3, like Animal Companion, Kill Command, Eaglehorn Bow, Bearshark... that would also open the gate to start pressuring the board since turn 1, and let the turn 2 work either as automatic Sinister Strike, or playing two 1-drops.
face hunter, 9 mana card...
Start of Game
that's what I think exactly
You don't play Baku for his body, no one wants a 9 mana 7/8.
The fact it upgrades your hero pwoer, on the other hand, makes playing him irrelevant.
A 3 damage hunter hero power is scary, even with deck restrictions and a crappy 9 mana minion.
I wonder if we will see some legendary weapons and spells mixed in with the usual legendary minions since shaman is getting a hero card
I think so. Apparently every class is getting two legendaries as usual, but only shaman's getting a new hero card. I think that means that we're gonna see several of the past legendary types distributed among the rest of the classes.
Legendary weapons, quests, and legendaries that go in couple, like Dreadscale with Acidmaw
Just the one hero card.
Icehowl won't get changed because it can never attack heroes.
Charged Devilsaur might get rush, but that will also be slightly different: it won't be able to go face when you summon it any more.
And according to Ben Brode, Shaman is the only class that will get a new hero card unfortunately.
A blizzard dev confirmed that Charged Devilsaur won't change.
Here
I'm sure Unstable Evolution will be reworded with Echo, but Icehowl will not get Rush, because he can never attack heroes, while Rush only prevents such an attack the round the card is played.
