The 1st elemental wearing a bra!
playable. i like this card =)
Thought it's 10/10 card
then I saw Elemental tag. 11/10
The kindergarden demographic approve of this card name.
If Control Paladin is a thing, then this card is busted.
3 mana 2\4 is actually decent in any sitatuion, 3 mana 2\4 that heals you repeatedly is broken against aggro.
But, again, this card needs to find a specific deck (I don't see this being played in Murloc Paladin, for example, nor do I see this being played in a control-heavy meta, but... when does that ever happen?).
EDIT: Actually, is this card better than the Tar Creeper?
The answer is "no", but that's taking into account only the card itself. Like, on its own. People have pointed out that Blackguard is a card that exists, and there's also Happy Ghoul (which is a card that doesn't work with this particular card, but is... kinda strong in a deck that runs multiple heals, which is what you'll want to do, if you play Blackguard, but that's.. pretty conditional). Basically, we'll see. This is a decent card in arena at the very least.
P.S. Ok, I'm officially confused. It's hard to evaluate a good card that has a good alternative and a weird synergy...
Unless Paladin doesn’t get more elemental synergy this card can’t compete in the already crowded 3 mana slot . Not only aggro decks seem to be generally not a huge problem for pally. The powerlevel of dominant decks like Jadedruid,Midrange Rouge or Raaza Priest, make this Card kinda obsolete.
If this is played behind a taunt, however, this is an even bigger problem.
Having this card played against you, while you're playing an aggro deck sucks, plain and simple. It won't kill aggro (nothing will kill aggro, trust me), but it's a huge help against it.
And yeah, Tar Creeper is better on its own, but:
a) You can play both, if you really-really hate aggro.
b) There is a potential for synergy.
Blackguard says hi
You mean Blackguard not Black Knight, right? :D
Yeah mistyped haha
The elder sister of Earthen Ring Farseer.
No its not, its re-print of Illuminator, only stronger.
