I dont get whats with all the fuss about, Jade druid decks isnt even that good...
The problem isn't that its too good, the problem is that it is unbeatable by control decks, which removes an enormous amount of decks from being competitively viable.
Control warrior, control priest and handlock decks that were killed by jades and might now resurface.
1- cost spells !

I'm playing one of these in control paladin for sure if jade druid persists or priest is highly competitive.
Paladin can already wreck priest with Tarim and Equality .

this card kills jade druid for sure. RIP
What is worse is that this card targets base spell cost. So if you are a priest with Radiant Elemental on board and you have Inner Fire in hand with reduced cost to 0, you will still gonna lose it if you or your opponent plays Skulking Geist.
How to make a card that is mighty even if noone plays it.
This card does counter jade druid and priest pretty hard. But it seems more like a tech card to me, 6 mana 4/6 is pretty poor. Right now 1/5 games is jade druid for me so i doubt it will be widely played.
It doesn't have to be played. It just has to exist. I've played hundreds of matches with Jade druid, but do you think I'm gonna go right out and construct a new and improved Jade druid deck when the expansion releases? Heck no. Not with the "Jade killer" out there.

And now for two years you can't make a hearthstone deck that depends on one cost spells. I mean, there's certainly many decks that don't, but there's at least three in rotation that *do*. That's kinda... not okay.
The only deck I play that has 1 cost spells is Malygos Shaman, and I think it can be built around to rely less on lightning bolt/frost shock.

God I hate this card. If it didn't attack the HAND it would almost be tolerable. But it does, not only violating one of the games Cardinal Rules, but making it impossible to play around. I really loathe hard-counter I WIN cards, and this may be the most egregious one yet. Our choices are now either to not play decks where 1-cost spells are critical, or just accept that we will lose some games in an entirely unfair and un-counterable fashion (which are by far the worst kind of losses).
Fine by me if jade dissapears honestly.
