Hearthstone Wild Packs Have Returned to the Shop
Wild sets have returned to the Hearthstone shop this afternoon, but only on the Battle.net website!
- Sets will be purchasable through the Battle.net website, not the in-game store.
- Only real life currency can be spent and not gold as the Battle.net website doesn't allow for gold purchases at this time.
These are the sets you can buy once again:
- Curse of Naxxramas [View our Guide]
- Goblins vs Gnomes [View our Guide]
- Blackrock Mountain [View our Guide]
- The Grand Tournament [View our Guide]
- The League of Explorers [View our Guide]
So if you want to pickup content any of these sets, and you can foot the bill, go go go!

More exciting news! The previously announced card pack changes are now live! If you want some more information, we have a complete rundown of the changes here.
- You will no longer receive duplicate Legendary cards.
- You will receive a guaranteed Legendary within the first 10 card packs opened of a new set.
- The Starter Pack Legendary follows the non-dupe rule too!
Excited? We are!
Blog Post
Quote from BlizzardIn our previous blog, we mentioned that we wanted to improve your card pack opening experience by removing the possibility of opening a duplicate Legendary until you own all Legendary cards of a given set. We also touched on the other card pack improvement of never being able to open more than two copies of a single card in a single pack. Both changes were slated to go live with the official launch of Knights of the Frozen Throne in August.
We have some good news! All card pack changes that were mentioned in this blog are NOW LIVE! We decided to have this feature go live as soon as possible so you could continue to flesh out your collection before Knights of the Frozen Throne goes live.

In the past I dusted few Naxx cards and I would like to get them back. What will happen if I buy Naxx 2nd time?
You can't buy second time.
you can't buy naxx a second time and if you've dusted cards you need to craft them to get them back
Naxx out!
only legends.
but...you will never open more cards in a pack than you could have in a deck...so...no more opening three of the same commons in the same pack.
yay i got nax
First non-dupe legendary I open after the change... The Caverns Below
ouch
Does this mean that if I buy 10 TGT packs now, for example, I'll get one TGT legendary (since this system is only being introduced now)? In other words, If I had bought more than 10 packs before and didn't manage to earn a legendary, will I be punished for that?
If you have ever opened even a single tat pack before either through buying one or getting one in arena, the guaranteed legendary in 10 packs does not apply. Only applies to sets you have never opened a pack from before. For most people this only applies to the new set.
If you've opened any TGT packs before now, you will not receive a guaranteed legendary in the first 10 packs.
It saysYou will receive a guaranteed Legendary within the first 10 card packs opened of a new set.So In case you've already open TGT in the past, it won't work.I just started an experiment, I had 6 TGT packs waiting to be opened and I bought 4 more with gold.
I got a Spiritsinger Umbra on my 9th pack, and I didn't have it, so I guess is working as stated.
Tons of epic cards as well.
If you already bought tgt packs and didn't had luck, you wont get some now guaranteed. This system with one legandary in the first ten packs applies only to new startet sets.
If you have never bought TGT packs before, yes. Guessing you have.
You're not being punished. You presumably enjoyed your TGT packs all during TGT and since. Folks returning to the game or just joining are being rewarded by the new system applying to all sets. We needn't begrudge them a catchup mechanism.
pretty sure it's all
It applies to any pack from any set.
