You guys are SEVERELY underestimating this card. Soggoth the Slitherer may not have been too popular but when it was used correctly, it singlehandedly won games. This card is going to be like that too, except more op because of the druid quest.
wow such a art
So the new Druid quest now makes this Legendary make a lot more sense.
I can see this working if the meta slows down enough. Could be a great Druid Finisher, and works great with Kun! The artwork, however, is just... Unfortunate. It looks like the artwork for a crappy common, not a legendary.
This is always what I thought Nozdormu should be. Glad to see it released, probably not viable unless the metagame slows down.
"Hello Tyrantus! Welcome to the Wild Hunter Legendaries club! Ram Wrangler and Webspinner will introduce you to your fellow members."
"Say hello to Malorne (You two have some things in common), King Krush, and the most popular guy around Savannah Highmane! Oh, and Maexxna over there in the corner."
"I hope you enjoy your time here making Rexxar and Alleria's opponents concede on turn 5!"
Really boring art
When do we get to see the goldens? There are some cards whose golden counterparts are amazing. I've learned to not judge too quickly!
I think it's one of the best artworks in Hearthstone...probably because I like less cartoony art, so this looks better in my opinion.
Oh Hai! there Powercreep! How we have missed you.
Not a fan of the card, but if it sticks and can get menagerie warden'ed, quite a lot of value.
[card]Troggzor, The Earthinator /card] says hi
Totally disagree. Troggzor was a fundamentally good card but just happened to get outgunned by:
Tyrantus can not be hard removed and there is no Sylvannas to steal him anymore. This card might have no impact the turn it hits the deck but thereafter it is going to wreak havoc. Remember that Spectral Knight was a staple in druid after Naxx and it did good work.
you can't compare that. another staple in druid decks back than was chillwind yeti, i think the better comparison would be "how many decks play fairy dragon as a two drop" and the answer is 1 (dragon warrior, because of the dragon tag). elusive (can't be targeted by spells, or heropowers) is just not as powerful. it's not super bad but it's not strong enough to really be important in constructed.
I really hope that we see a card og two more in te Un'goro set that can make this viable.
Its going to have that glowing effect in-game so they didn't feel the need to make it look badass. Lazy blizzard
I really think this might have a place in a ramp druid. A heavy ramp druid. What's the weakness of ramp druid? You gotta keep big threats on the board. What are your worries with this? Well hard removal. Yeah, there are a few counters of course. bgh? I haven't seen one in awhile, have you? Aldor? Ok, if it hasn't already been used, and considering the limited hard removal of Paladin it's not bad, and you still have a 1/12 to pick shit off at least. Deadly shot? Again, when was the last time you saw that? Priest can only deal with it if they silence it first, and thats a huge waste of silence. Mage needs to rely on a secret to hit it. It's a huge-ass threat that needs to be immediately dealt with, and that's really hard to do and they'll usually waste a lot to kill it. And druid doesn't have bad healing options, so chances are either you already lost or you can spare a turn throwing this down and then swing back next turn (or do both with some innervates if you're lucky)
Deadlyshot, BGH, Peacekeeper
If you have any of those left by the time this is played, good on you LOL.
