Very interesting mechanic, I love it !
Hey Im going to play this card says priest
Shows nothing
Priest:
Won't this be quite easy to "guess" when 95% of the players netdeck anyways?
that is the point
could be op
when i first saw this card, it made me think of gruntys quiz show level in banjo kazooie. I quess i thought that because just like in banjo kazooie, you have to know the game well in order to get rewarded.
Im just going run a garbage deck to counter priest.
The only-class-card element makes this extremely powerful, because you'll see 1 class card (possibly already played), and 2 worthless class cards that would never be included.
Class cards are generally better then neutral cards.
OOMG nooooo please don't be real because it's going to make people TAKE FOREVER to decide on the card. They will be torn between two decisions and won't pick until the very end, each time saying "oh I really want this card but because of the play style, I think it really will end up being this one..." and then never picking because you don't want to get it wrong!
I like the general idea, rewarding players who understand various deck types and play styles... but I don't like anything else that halts the middle of a game and requires a deep level of analysis mid-turn. Oh well.
You know what I always thought might be a cool game mechanic? Why not having a tracker at the bottom of the card which scores a tick or a mark each time a particular minion makes a kill, then having a certain ability unlocked when a minion has made 1, 2, or 3 kills thus unlocking special abilities like bonus health or windfury or something. It sort of creates the idea of "hero characters" which can stand out for their individual kills. This would be cool!
Come on Blizzard, it's not too late to change! (just kidding, I know they make these decisions months in advance).
Oh wow the fact it only shows Class cards, makes this Card actually op in my OPinion.
You´ve a good chance to actually see 2 cards that are actually played or even 3 and get to pick one + it´s finally a 3drop for priest that you can slam without loosing the reason you put it in your Deck! That fact makes it almost even with Dragon operative what means alot, cause its the one biggy that made Dragonpriest viable in T1.
I'm running x2 Chillwind Yeti and x2 Pit Fighter to counter this one
Doesn't work: it always shows up CLASS CARDS, not Neutral ones. But if you want to gimp your deck; i've nothing against it ;-Þ
Then maybe I will run 30 non-class cards on my deck
THE GOD PogChamp
Such a weird mechanic, a game inside the game. Seems gimmicky, but definitely interesting. It's just... weird, there's nothing in the game like this. I just don't want Blizzard to go down too far down this road, where we end up having things like "Battlecry: Play a game of chess. If you win, gain +3/+3"
That's... quite a leap from a simple variation on Discover.
Wow, this is a great tool for priest to get Flamestrike in arena, because I swear every mage I play against has like 3 of them in their decks.
What are the actual chances that's still in their deck by turn 3?
Or you could try reading the card. (Not that Patches will ever show up considering Donais's clarificaiton.)
