most decks run viper as ignis is there... this card is much weaker than neutral legendary ie ignis. Weak legendary for a highlander card
Vipers eat frogs so it's Lore 😳
Piranha Launcher crying in the corner.
A 7 year old card that never saw play, has now been power crept yes...
"Crept" is the wrong word for it.
TRUE! You can't really surpass something that was always behind :)
token information Please, why not auto included
Interesting how its work with re-equipped staff. 10/10+ or new sircle 1/1+
yeah that makes it either really damn good or really bad
I really hope the "just draw the good card LOL" decks won't be tier 1 ever again.
Insanely strong
This feels like the card where if I play it on turn 5, my opponent has a Rustrot Viper sitting in their hand, and then I'll be sad. But if my opponent plays this on 5, my Viper and/or E.T.C., Band Manager will be nowhere to be seen until after they've used all 9 uses.
Crossing fingers for future 'Give Hero Windfury' or 'Give Weapon Windfury this turn' cards.
With 'Return weapons' or 'Return Minion to Hand' I want ENDLESS FROGS decks.
Prediction: in future if shaman will have ~35% winrate (which happens very often with this class) they will add lifesteal to this weapon
highlander cards have to be beyond strong to be worth running that restriction, especially now.
I feel this can be that, but it requires the meta to be slow af
I don't like that much that the Frog Token is the Hex Token, cause is like a completle different minion.
But the card is pretty neat, is 18 damage, and summons a total of 45/45 Taunt on stats over 9-turns. In Wild is really easy to play, in Standard I don't know if is enough to justify a full Highlander deck as your best option
BUT. They left 1 unanunced Legedary Neutral card, that I'm pretty sure that is going to be Reno Jackson, cause he appears in the promotional art, and Blizzard would never bring back the Highlander mechanic without bring back the OG Highlander card. So if Reno is good enough to justify playing a Highlander deck in standard, this card would be pretty strong.
In battle net app there is already a gif of Reno Jackson. He seems to be a Hero Card (as he was before) with the same battlecry as before (poofing the whole board) but with a 2-cost Hero Power. He was played at Druid class but I suppose he really will be Neutral legendary
He also appears in the card art and flavor text for Bounty Board, so he's definitely involved in this expansion. Add in that the BlizzCon bundle contains 1 Signature Legendary card, my guess is that BlizzCon will reveal his card as the last Neutral Legendary, and owners of the $50 bundle will get a Signature version of him.
I'll be crafting this asap. Love the concept!
For those that can't view the video (and as the Staff itself isn't pictured here with the Doctor), it is as follows:
5 cost, 2 attack, 9 durability. "After your hero attacks, summon a 1/1 Frog with Taunt. (Each Frog is bigger than the last!)
