Void Contract, Azari, the Devourer, and Hemet, Jungle Hunter all destroy minions in deck and afaik none activate deathrattles. I wouldn't expect them too either, that would make for some really weird effects.
Even ignoring the "all copies" part, it's Assassinate + 4/4 body for 1 additional mana. Also shadowstep-able and otherwise duplicable because it's a minion, not a spell. VERY good.
Cards that generate other slow cards in highlander decks are...not as good as you seem to think. Extreme value, but this card probably won't even get drawn in half the games its played, and when it's drawn you have to be in pretty decent position to use it because it will usually be the only thing you'll get to do that turn. Yes, crowd roaster is a good card. Emeriss is a great card...if you've got a 10 mana turn where you can afford not to affect the board, heal, or play a taunt. Which is to say... I've NEVER seen it played. Also, you could get brightwing. Or something meh like that bronze dragon that gives you 4/4. This is basically a giant weaponized pinata with a highlander condition. It's not gonna break the game.
If a good card didn't do something mega good every once in about 650 plays, or very good once in about every 25 plays...it's not actually very good. Those numbers sound perfectly reasonable.
Cool deck. I found it because I recently started tinkering with my own version of highlander dragon mage in the current expansion, and I wanted to see if that's a thing. Apparently not, but this deck does okay. Here's a link if interested. https://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/1313596-highlander-dragonzoth-mage It would be cool to add Chromaggus to it. Hopefully at some point in the next expansion they'll make all dragons from all expansions standard. Would make sense.
Same. But of course I remember the one murloc shaman who drew perfectly and basically crushed me by turn 5. Who knows if he actually has a high winrate, but he had a great game. I don't really play shaman or this archetype so I'm not the best judge, but I see how this deck leads to quick, overwhelming wins in the best case. But I'm not sure it's that great in the average case.
People are pretty salty about lack of balance in a game mode that literally changes every week, but yeah paladin is legit busted. Play cards that hurt self, no strategy, win.
I love this brawl and am glad they decided to incorporate the PvE features of Rumble into a brawl. Yeah, it's not exactly balanced, but that's the point of brawls: to use stuff that would break "normal" play but is ridiculous and fun. I played warrior a few times, and it's hard to win with warrior against many of these matchups, but against another warrior we had a long, slow, dragony game. Ridiculously powerful minions. Between dragon roar, the minion that gives you up to 3 discovered dragons when it overkills, and dead man's hand, I had a deck with 30+ dragons. And with the loa and a constant stream of dragons, I was able to play 2 Deathwing, Dragonlords in one turn, putting 3 on my side of the board. Silly nonsense but a lot of fun.
Really clever deck. I still got crushed the first several tries, but if you can get a 2 drop in opening hand and a few other conditions, you have a chance. My Netherspite Historian discovered a Nightscale Matriarch, which at the right moment can help you quickly populate the board while clearing and shorten the game a lot. It felt easy once things fell into place, but it always does.
After almost 20 tries of getting crushed within the first few turns because I wasn't able to draw the low cost minions I needed to stay alive until 5 or 6, I gave up on this deck.
Even with this very good (and extremely expensive deck) this is still a retardedly hard fight at this point. It's probably always been that way, but even though the expansions give you a lot more options for how to beat him, they've also added much more powerful spells for him to generate than when this was initially designed. For warrior, things like Heavy Metal, Sudden Genesis, Dead Man's Hand (I saw all ofthese on the 2 attempts where I made it to turn 5 or beyond) make this a MUCH harder fight. Also regardless of how well you draw, you need to hope he draws badly, because most of the time he starts with minions in hand good enough to crush you on turn 4 before you could possibly play a Brawl, or Reno, or whatever. Also if I ever meet whoever designed this fight I will kick them squarely in the junk.

Honestly if it were just priest dragons that wouldn't be so bad, because you'd have an excellent chance of getting Murozond.

Witch's Brew is not actually in the deck list...

Not much luck for me.
