I think whining about QR shifted from opness to how polarised and uninteractive games are with it, a while ago.

I think very few players are playing QR for the winrates. More for laziness maybe.

QR is still a meta deck (assuming a meta deck is anything above 50% wr). Problem is its bad design, and that's well-known.

Exactly , Kibler made a Youtube video outlining this over a month ago. It is bad ( & boring ) design but not broken OP.
Now the real question is why isn't anyone playing Warlock when OP's data proves it has the best winrate!!! :P
Congrats to OP though for playing over 40 hours of Quest Rogue in 19 days as that is a level of torture I couldn't endure!

Did we receive our packs for this and I just never noticed? Or are we still waiting?

I think we did. I got 3 packs 1 to 2 weeks ago, if it was 3 for rutgers that should be it
I got 3 packs for blizzard celebrating 70 million downloads/accounts 1 to 2 weeks ago but I really don't remember getting the packs for this event. Maybe I just don't remember.

If you get 1 pack a day just from setting up a bot its already good. Like think about it. 7 days = 7 packs. Its not nothing. Obviously you can get much more packs by farming arena but not everyone likes arena. For instance i dont because its so fuckign random bullshit that i just cant stand it.

you can get a pack a day regardless with pirate warrior. 30 wins takes what, an hour and a half? if you dont win by turn 6 you concede, and move on. average game should take about 3 minutes

3 minutes X 30 = 90  so yea its an hour and a half if you win 100%  and your games average 3 minutes but more likely you are closer to 50 games which would make it 2 and half hours which would be close to 18 hours a week.
Botting is ridiculously easy in hearthstone because simplistic decks have never been punished with being inferior. If a deck requires nothing but spitting out your cards it probably shouldn't ever be tier 1 let alone the best deck in the game. Unfortunately I think as a community we view hearthstone more as a competitive game than the developers who view it more as a mobile app to play while killing time. ( Who hype competitive tournaments for marketing purposes )
I believe blizzard views botters as low priority since they are less noticeable now meaning less community outrage and I don't believe they view them as lost revenue as they were unlikely to spend much if anything and most mobile games target whales who spend a lot. I could be wrong though and they have been trying hard to manage it but can't come up with solutions.
For me personally the frustration is climbing the ladder is annoying enough because of bad meta's and design and it just feels worse when you come across someone climbing it who isn't even putting in the time or effort by just botting.

Pirate bots continue to play games beyond hope plus they dont make poor decisions they make predictable decisions based around the fact they don't have knowledge of the opponents deck.
They emote you back and will play a game that feels randomly paced but there is a rhythm to it.  I see plenty of human pirate warriors still and they are pretty distinguishable from the bots :P

I play mostly on weekends and later at night so maybe that skews the data but I am still meeting roughly 20% pirate warrior bots at rank 5. Very easy to spot as they still strongly favour trades into azure drake , antique healing bot , brann & kazakus over face dmg. Won't always do it but will do it way more often than a human. Occasionally when I am curious I just play one down to fatigue to learn a little more about the programming but yea still a lot of them in Wild!

posted a message on Blizzard: "Journey to Un'Goro Card Distribution is Working Properly"

I opened 98 packs launch of mean streets and received 4 legendaries and all were Raza (the 4th literally required me to go for a few hour hike to work the rage out!)

This expansion I opened 7 legendaries out of 114 packs and only 1 duplicate (Rogue Quest) so I can relate to peoples misery but it is most likely rng and groupthink!

End of season boredom led me to make anti-pirate deck and just drop back down to rank 5 and hunt pirate players trying to rank. Not sure blizzard would approve of using their new locked rank 5 system for this but I thought it would be great therapy!

I conceded constantly unless my opponent was a warrior and after doing this for 17 warriors games I can say there are a ton of pirate bots! I lost 1 game won 16 and of the 16 I won only 3 conceded the rest were most likely bots who let me build up tons of armor and never gave up trying to win an impossible game.

In the end the therapy was useless because beating bots isn't satisfying and the actual humans realized what was going on and quit pretty quickly. I guess in the end it's what I deserve for trying to get joy out of others misery!

    Quote from Legend_Entomber >>

At the beginning of expansion launch and new meta, 70-80% of the time I play Standard and the rest is Wild.

As time goes on and the meta goes stale, I play more Wild and less Standard.

Eventually at the end of the meta and before the next expansion launch, I mostly play Wild and barely any Standard, like currently.

Pretty much this except mine is more like 100% Standard first month , 50/50 Second month and 100% Wild either during second month or third month depending how quickly the meta went stale.
Standard becomes Rock , Paper , Scissors whereas Wild is more like Rock, Paper , Scissors , Lizard , Spock.

I remember actually facing one at rank 6 by the way. I noticed he took about 5 seconds between each action he made, and he made some very weird plays. I tried to test whether he was a bot so I greeted him, but to my surprise he greeted back. I actually was very surprised, but then I tried out some more and it turned out the bot responded with a specific emote for each emote I used at it. Never saw that in a bot before so it was pretty cool. Seriously though, these bots can get rank 5. That definitely shows there is a problem with pirate warrior.

Yea they emote and will change pace of play slightly which disguises them quite well.
The biggest thing is they will make value trades with high value minions like Kazakus , Reno or Healbot even when you are fairly low in HP. They also don't concede when a loss is inevitable.
With no real system to report these players integrated into the client and the grind for rank being rather dull I can't see bots ever disappearing as they guarantee you a pack a day from gold & can easily grind out rank 5 for you each month. I know a lot of people will downplay this as not significant but 365 free packs a year plus rank 5 monthly rewards adds up.

actually this card can be very good, if you combo with innervate it generates 2 more mana crystals for the next turn, innervate becomes gain 2 mana crystals

Mike Donais just revealed on Trump's stream that Innervate and Coin don't have synergy with the card, temporary mana crystals don't summon Living Mana tokens
Yep saw that! Seems like a pretty big letdown as InnervateLiving Mana seemed like a great combo.

Queued into 5 Pirate Bots at Rank 5 in Wild this afternoon. So still plenty around and clearly good enough to rank up.

Oh, so you don't want to play a potentially good deck? Well, if it turns out to be powerful than thnx for providing the rest of us with ez wins.

I think you mean , You don't want blizzard forcing you to play a potentially good deck by completely building it for you and forcing you to face it or some other pre-determined deck constantly that you have no choice but to play it or some other pre-determined blizzard deck to remain competitive.
Yea doesn't sound like the current meta at all but something new and exciting!

Before anyone asks Shifting Shade - So it costs less helping the priest legendary quest, isn't played on turn 4 where a 3 health minion trades really badly and has elemental tag which we assume will be useful this expansion.

Why would you ever play shifting shade now which is why I view this as power creep. Will it be played? Hard to say with so many cards left to reveal but it is definitely better than Shifting Shade.

Power Creep is when a card is strictly better than another, except possibly in extremely fringe cases. Tar Creeper, for example, power creeps Am'gam Rager, as it is always better except in fringe cases, like against The Black Knight.
Shifting Shade is a 4 mana 4/3. It can, for example, take out a Tomb Pillager or Blackwing Corruptor (both rotating, but you get the idea), whereas this 1 mana 1/1 can't. I can imagine playing both cards in a Deathrattle Priest deck.
I get that power creep is a thing that is happening in the game, but we really shouldn't just start using it for everything. I could call every card an Aggro card if I wanted to, wouldn't make it true.

Ok I agree Power Creep by the definition doesn't fit this situation. However it is clearly a better budgeted variant/theme of Shifting Shade and is another 1 drop designed to push a deck archetype very hard which to me is a disappointing pattern from blizzard.

Player creativity seems to be removed in place of pre-determined deck design.
