    The only reason I played Thief rogue was becuz I had just been smashed by them. And of course they discovered really good spells. And then I was inspired to try it out, and my experience was anything but fun. And I got alot of DH relic spells that were useless to me, like All Fel Breaks Loose  and stuff like that. LOL 

    So to have that weird run of the same dumb card was very unfriendly. 

    Anyways im just trying to make conversation about the game, no hard feelings at all.

    LIke, I steal, discover, and/or  recast the Mage spell,  Rune of the Archmage, which casts 20 mana worth of mage spells at the opponent.  This morning, I playd the spell 5 times, either thru casting it myself, or having it recast thru Contraband Stash. I even discovered a copy of Rune of the Archmage from Jackpot! in the second game vs Mage. 

    OUt of the 2 games I played, Rune cast Iceblood Tower every single time!!!  And , Jackpot! also gave me a copy of it!!!, as I was telling my buddy in game about what happened!!!!!

    In fact, I told my friend at 3 casts of Iceblood Tower, and in the next 5 minutes, I discovered a copy from the Jackpot! and it was recast from the Contraband Stash!!!!  AS I was typing to him no less!!! 

    LOL I have never seen this happen before like this......does this mean I should invest in Ice?  Towers?  Buy a lottery ticket? Number 10 for the 10 mana? 

    What would be your perception of this bad RNG experience? Anyone else have some crazy story like this? I find it quite humorous and perplexing actually. For half the value to be practically wasted 5 times in a row is nuts to me. Ive played this game for years, and never seen something this egregious before. 

    It would fun to hear similar stories.....

    Worst design ever. And lazy as heck. I hate it with everything I have. One guy gets a 1 mana 6 drop with DR, the other gets nothing. And its consistenly like this. Just a horrible experience.

     yah but thats not very consistent at all is it. jeez its looking like the next meta is gonna be casino royale and fast aggro trying to outrun the coming disruption/discover/rng shennannigans that are surely coming. Well, I guess my Kazakus Quest Priest is looking not so bad next season!! lol having a second win condition will be needed for us control players.

    This is just a bad Call of the Wild that will be restricted to a very specific token archetype, as many people have pointed out. Stupid design.

     why would u want that card summoned? it doesnt have the infused effects active cuz its on the board so?  Bad? Its 2 mana cheaper, and you get a 5/4 body in addition to the summons.....

    posted a message on Random enemy spells going face

    I notice that when Mage plays a spell that triggers random spells, like the 9 manaRune of the Archmage, that the targets for every spell always seem to hit my minions or face. 

    So whateever happened to the random trigger effect? If that spell cast a Pyroblast, it will guarnatee to hit my side of the board. Yes they still overdraw and cast useless spells too, but the damage spells always go to my side. There was a card in HS that said in the keyword : target enemy when possible, but that was a specific Battlecry. 

    Did they change the wording/code of HS mechanics to make the outcomes always favor the Mage? 

    Any feedback would be appreciated, thx.

    I took 3 months off cuz I was disgusted with the meta and where the game was going. I came back in May, and I am finding the same problems still. For example, Naga Mage or Mech Mage can be ridiculously OP.  Today, Naga Mage played 26 MANA worth of cards on turn 5!!!!    26 MANA on turn 5!!!!  Heres the replay......https://hsreplay.net/replay/PL8JGwiBTUrR3zee4KKBTa

     

    So I ask you, where was the balance team when this deck was designed? Who came up with this idea and considered it fair and balanced? 

    How is this good for the game?` Im so mad, dissapointed and bummed out by this 1 game, which was my first game of the day. It set the tone for the rest of the day.

    the meta punishes quest priest atm, and hard!  Im a hardcore priest player build decks all day every day, and let me tell you, its the wrong time to play this deck unless you like losing half your games, or more depending on the time of day. at night, when everybody is playing warlock, dont even think about it. mech mage same thing...at lest good players anyways...with perfect curve and not facing otk deck, you can get some wins with this type of deck. But its not consistent at all right now....and the meta punishes slow decks.

    Well, they nerfed it today!!  2 minions getting discounted is alot less powerful than all of them in hand. Cant wait to see how it is to play against it!!

    Everybody is playing the same broken hero power. How could Blizzard allow such an obvious broken HP into the game? All you have to do is tap HP on turns 2,3,4, and its just GG from there......turn 5 w coin u can play three 8 drops? Its absolutely broken and unfair. Also it polarized the meta and everybody except me, is playing it!!

    Lets get reasonable with the mana discount and adjust the strength of the HP... 2 mana investment should give no mare than a 2 mana result....thats Hearthstone at its core. 

    And unlocking Vanndar takes forever, as u have to play certain cards in Duels, as Vanndar, to unlock the new HP and Treausures....

    I wish they chose to unlock all the treasures and HP at the same time and adjust the power level thru nerfs and buffs....especially since they just did an big update which included all these broken ideas....what happened to day 1, week 1 balance patches? 

    I take solace in Duels and Arena being more "fun "to play as I really enjoy deck building and the process of adjusting to the meta as i win or lose games and draft cards. But whats the point when everybody is playing the same broken Hero? I have faced him over 40% of the time during the past week....thats alot of games losing solely from the broken HP.....didnt matter what I had or did becuz discounting  AN ENTIRE HAND OF NEUTRAL MINIONS BY 2 MANA EACH TIME is way too good. 

    Mana cheat and card draw cheat are the biggest factors in unbalanced gameplay in my opinion and experience. 

    I would love to see some changes made to help Duels feel and be more balanced.
