Demonic Project and Mecha’thun in the same deck is just not good.

For those saying they're seeing fewer hunters than ever, I just have to say consider yourselves lucky because I'm still seeing just as many as ever.

Is 2 x chow overkill? I just hate giving the opponent 10 life in a deck with no burst.

i think 2 Lay on hands are too much.

Yet 1 doesn't seem like enough card draw. This is where the new pally class card will really come in handy.

posted a message on How many heals to have a good matchup against facehunter?
    Quote from Ethylbenzene »

    It depends on your class.
As paladin, 1 healbot and 2 truesilvers are usually enough as long as you keep the heals in the mulligan and play taunts.
In warlock there is no such thing as too many heals against hunter.
In priest, warrior, and druid you don't have to implement any additional heals, but don't be afraid to use lores as heals.
In mage, hunter, rogue and shaman if you are trying to outlast hunter, you should run at least 2 healbots to have a good matchup. The extra 8-16 health many times outlasts the amount of damage the hunter has in his/her hand/deck.

    This is the paladin subforum.

Oh yes, it's always fun to win the board control game the whole match, yet still lose to this...but hey, it's Hearthstone.

Seriously...not sure what you're expecting us to say, but that's the only answer...mage without removal is kinda silly against any deck, tbh.

all of you complaining this cards broken shut up, and give it some goddamn time to set in, ITS A NEW card, a legendary 6 drop what do you expect it to do fart in the air and buff your minions for 2/2 then die at the end of the turn ? no then DEAL with it and learn to counter play instead of crying about it or dont lose the board hell im sick of you whiny children complaining "ormawgurd NERRFF NERRRF its broken broooken blizzard plzz", its getting seriously annoying ffs

This! Thaurissan is NOT broken, he completely balanced and there's no reason to complain about him especially this early. Even at 5 mana he wouldn't be that strong but since the effect occurs every turn it's playable at 6 mana. People keep complaining about nerfing cards. The game is perfectly balanced and nothing needs to be nerfed yet blizzard keeps nerfing cards because of complaining. Also do not bring up Dr. Boom he is fine and blizzard confirms this, even at 6 mana he wouldn't be in all decks, he is slow and dies to BGH. This is like unleash the hounds and buzzard all over again if people keep complaining, 2 mana hounds and buzzard was beatable yet competitive. Blizzard only nerfed hunters because people keep complaining and not adapting to the meta.

It's a cycle of unnecessary nerfs and it keeps happening, I'm at my wits end here. Sylvanas was NOT OP at 5 mana, far from it. Argent Commander was fine as a 4/3 and today wouldn't see play against belcher, defender of argus was balanced as a 3/3 and is out shined by piloted shredder. Undertaker was completely fine and now it was butchered by nerfs, if you played correctly and removed it when you needed to it wasn't a problem. Tinkmaster and Pagle were in a great place before nerfs. If people didn't bitch so much maybe backstab would still be playable without the drawback and kid napper would be also.

Please Blizzard no more nerfs, nothing needs to be changed. I hope blizzard plans to revert previous nerfs eventually and keep the game balanced around good play and not people refusing to adapt.

Yes, let's go back to 8 mana pyroblasts!

Why not, we have antique healbots now so direct damage isn't nearly as threatening anymore. Aggro is so popular atm it's not like it would buff anything except freeze mage and maybe mech mage. It should never have been nerfed in the first place with farseer heals and plenty of counter decks. Just build a board and don't ever go below 12 life and you're fine. Pyroblast has never been incredibly strong and certainly never anywhere close to OP (it was ok to pretty good back in early hearthstone before control warrior) and 10 mana pyroblast is hardly ever used. If you're dying to pyroblast on turn 8 your losing the rest of the game first and only have yourself to blame.

Yes it's frustrating to get finished off by pyroblast and you can see why people rose their pitch forks against it but it should have never been nerfed, it's a L2P issue. Mind control is in the same boat, at 8 mana it's competitive, balanced and saw some play in control priest. 10 mana nerf was absolutely uncalled for, another case of a card that's frustrating to play against but not over powered in anyway. We also have spectral knight and arcane nullifier for Mind control so it wouldn't even be that strong any more. STOP nerfing cards and wait to see how new cards balance the game, BRM will definitely change what we think is OP or not.

*Edit* "I don't know how serious you are with having troll in your name, but overpowered small cards will be nerfed a lot faster than op big cards."

The name comes from Troll Ascetic, it was a MTG card that was often considered OP when it wasn't, people played around it. It is one of the better creature magic cards having his own unique ability, one way shroud called "Troll shroud" now called hexproof many years later. It costs 3 Mana.

Yes, pyro only helps freeze mage, but let's not forget that they nerfed several other freeze mage cards too because at one point it was rather OP.

There's nothing wrong with balancing the game. It's nice that Blizzard has that luxury, imo.

The problem with this card is that it brings back (and introduces new) burn/burst decks that are EXTREMELY unhealthy for the game. It's no fun to get stalled till turn whatever and then receive ~30~ damage to your face in a single turn from hand. You can't play around that - at all. Frost Mage in particular is ridiculous with this card. Burst priest is a thing now as well, with well over 30 damage in a single turn.

That IS and will increasingly become an even bigger problem.

Yeah, I thought that was the kind of thing Blizzard wanted to prevent. This card is a huge step in the wrong direction. Even if it only lives one turn, it can and does have a major impact on burst decks.
