I was about to say that it's funny that I'm completely wrecking all the rogues and priests with Grumble combos, yet I haven't faced any shaman myself... but then I realized that most people probably dusted Grumble...
I personally hate this change, as I never cared as much about ranking as I did trying new decks and now that I start at rank 6, I just get thrown thrown in with the tier one bullshit right away. Before, at least I got to try different things out and not have to play the best decks ALL THE TIME until I ranked high enough.
Yeah, it seemed easiest in the beginning. I went 11-0 at first with this deck, then lost 3 in a row somehow. Next run was only 7 wins , but the deck is solid.
It's actually not really an OTK deck,.. since you can't get a one turn damage kill from hand. You're depending on getting Windfury on a big minion, supplemented by damage from Rockbiter, Doomhammer, and spells, and since there are lots of big guys, and two windfury, you don't really need that much draw. No matter what you draw, it's big damage. You just need one or two big minions to stick, and if you can't, then hopefully Leeroy/Windfury will give enough burst from hand.
You answered your own question. Shaku is the only 3 drop that doesn't need a combo to be good. Otherwise you would need a 1 mana and 2 mana card to be efficient. Shaku can also give you an almost guaranteed cold blood target if you need one at the end and don't have a charge.
It's definitely difficult to play vs certain decks, though it should be fairly efficient and it's rare for a deck to "flood" the board. If a deck does manage to get a lot of small minions vs the deck, that is where Defender of Argus helps. Quest rogue is really horrible to play against, but decks like aggro druid and warrior were very easy to beat.
Been playing a silence priest just like this all day. Never saw anyone else play anything like it. Then tonight I came across two people in a row... And go figure... I find a deck featured on this site. Sigh... I guess I'm not playing a unique deck anymore. I've been using Barnes and Ysera though. May not be consistent... But is super fun.
Looks a lot like my Reno/N'zoth/Curator hunter, though I can't get it past rank 5 because of pirate warrior. My deck is actually good vs shaman though, and I have a couple more taunts, like that 4/5 that discounts to 3 mana.
Very little is better than playing N'zoth when you have a Tundra Rhino on board.... which doesn't happen a lot, but when it does, it's worth the wait.
Wow... it's funny how similar this deck is to a deck I made last week (silence mixed with Divine Spirit and Faceless Shambler). Interesting to see what someone else has done with it. I have been using Barnes, and it's hilarious to silence a 1/1 minion, that can't attack unless it's by itself, into a 7/7. I have also been messing with Ysera too, and it's worked out alright. If anyone tries this deck with Barnes, change the Northshires to Loot Hoarders. In fact, loot Hoarder is better in general, since you will almost never draw two cards from her with this deck. The only good thing is the 3 health, which may survive after turn one if lucky, and allow the Talonpriest to buff it.
I don't use more than one Purify, since it's not very good, even in this deck. It's an alright 1 of though.

Grumble Worldshaker has been owning this brawl for me. Hilarious combos with Brewmasters and elemental battelcries

Think about Lightwarden this way: it may be easy to kill, but in late game, you're playing a 23/2 minion for 1 mana.

Yes, too slow. You're already favored vs the decks that N'zoth would help with.

The deck is already favored vs the decks where N'zoth would help. Against the decks that it struggles against, it just makes it worse.

It easily has a positive winrate vs both.

Went from rank 5 to rank 2 in a couple days. This deck is actually LEGIT to rank with!! I love it.
