Edit: I'm glad a lot of people enjoyed the deck. I wanted to apologize that I haven't made a guide... I just really haven't had enough time, and I'm not sure how good it is in this meta, since I played it to legend at the end of April. If anyone wants to post a guide in the comments, I'll copy it up here and obviously give you credit.
So, I rarely copy decks, but I saw Dog play this Jade rogue deck and had to try it ( I use +1 Defender of Argus and -1 Cold Blood ). I was trying tons of decks at rank 5 for fun, and when I played this one I went to rank 3 with only 2 losses... so I continued to give it a try, and in 2 days I was surprisingly at legend. Keep in mind I'm not really that good of a player, which says a lot for the deck.
The most interesting parts of this deck are Cult Master and Shadowcaster, two cards which I really like using in decks. I was skeptical of Cult Master in the deck, but it works quite well, and you will very often end up drawing at least two cards at a time.
I could go into more details and make a write-up if there is interest. The main things I can say about the deck is that it wrecks control decks. It loses pretty hard vs Quest rogue, though my legend game was actually an incredibly close one vs quest rogue... so if you can manage to put pressure on them early, then it's possible. It's actually not bad vs pirate warrior because it has early game: backstab, jade shuriken, SI-7, Mistress of Mixtures, Patches, and then it has face protection by using Argus to make small taunts that they have to waste weapon charges on. I would say that I definitely have a very positive winrate vs warrior. It has a positive record vs paladin, and I would say that the main way to beat them is to not overextend too much.
Anyway, enjoy the deck, and you can check it out on Dog's stream.
I miss patches. How to replace it?
I, too, would like to know.
My fav Un'goro one so far, thanks for posting the deck! Once in a while can't draw the low cost cards and it's a bust - but overall running really good win percentage for me.
I really like the combo options with the small cards that I would otherwise not play - and I see tons of value in Shadowcaster where I would normally run Shadowstep (Jade rogue not running Shadowstep... weird but effective). I also get Aya pretty often off of Journey - so that card shines when I thought it was combofeed.
I do struggle with quest rogues though, but heck I have a shot - most decks I just auto concede that matchup. So far I'm competitive with pirate war too. I also haven't quite figured out mimic pod - often have to give up tempo just to cast it and pray it pulls a useful card.
can you post a guide ?
I tried The Black Knight... I'll give Umbra a try, thanks!
Really like this deck.
suits my play style really well. i swapped out 1 journey below for 1 shadow step, as i quite often found journey below to be a 'bad draw' or at least a gamble. shadow step with vilespine/defender/arya/s:i7/swasgburgler/jade spirit is always good.
kept 1 journey below because sometimes you need a hail mary, and the option of a second arya or a sherazin can be very powerful in long control games.
If I lack Vilespines, do I put Assasinates, Shadow Strikes or what?
Best replace would be assassinates but vilespine is irreplaceable with the fact that its a minion and can be a assassinate
Sap doesnt eliminate the problem it just delays it
This deck is so insanly bad. every match you are out of cards on turn 5. Every aggro deck just rushes over this. dont play this if you want to ladder!
have played about 50 games with this deck and this hasn't happened once. you're playing badly, don't blame the deck.
Agreed this deck is pretty horrendous.
Basically any half decent control or aggro deck will run you over by turn 5 if you aren't in a perfect world with your draws.
Craft them? Swashburglars are common cards...
Haha nice joke
maybe a fire fly? you just want the early game value and fire fly does that job well. it's important to have something on the board very early just to trade with early hunter beasts or to tag team with backstab, and in late game provides combo fodder...fire fly could do that job.
You can't craft adventure cards you dingus

I'm having a problem with getting enough cards. Every game I've played I've had too few cards and you need to spend a lot if you want to keep tempo. With so many weak cards the tempo doesn't do you much good when a shaman or mage clears your board with one card. You need minions with more than 4 health to have enough board presence vs those classes.
The slayers are great in theory but can you afford to wait until late game to use them? Not with this deck. You need to be lucky and keep your early minions so you can trade them with cult master up. Only then will you have enough cards to give your opponent a challenge. Too rng based.
nice deck :) nice tempo deck, mimic pod and shadowcaster very good for utility
this is my game play vs murloc paladin which is meta right now, and beat it easily (sorry for my misplay 1time)
tirion can be destroyed easily, enjoy:)

So far I`m 4-2 with the deck, problems that will appear are surely no real AoE damage and maybe another finishing move. N'zoth would fit perfect here, especially when you get another copy with Shadowcaster and you are already running the deathrattle card Journey Below. Try it out! ;)
