Thanks so much for this suggestion! I didn't have Sea Giant and originally substituted it with a nice taunt. After more failed attempts than any other heroic boss, it seemed hopeless. I just never had enough buff cards to get the OTK damage. I tried Chromaggus instead, and it worked perfectly. There aren't many low-cost options for this challenge, and having a perfect sub for the epic card is essential.
I notice in several of the success pics that people post, their Sea Giant is still in their hand at the end anyway. Maybe it would be better overall with a Chromaggus. Anyhow, thanks for saving me so much time and frustration!

Thank you SO MUCH for this deck and guide. My friend is literally like 4-days-new to Hearthstone and this deck and guide are a godsend. You rock OP!

First try with this deck! I'd HIGHLY recommend subbing in Chromaggus for the Sea Giant. Your hand will fill quickly, but you'll be able to double up on Power Word: Shield and Velen's Chosen draws.
I actually drew 2 Kel'Thuzads, which was instrumental to me winning, since Nefarian killed the first Kel'Thuzad on turn 8 when I played him. Ended up winning with an 84/84 Blackwing Technician that had been taken with Mind Control Tech.

This deck is great. I was able to 2 shot it. BUT, I think Emperor Thaurissan actually ends up hurting this deck. I included it in the match I won--so it does work--but since it lowers the cost of cards, and the idea is to spend all your mana, it ends up hurting that strategy when your Mind Vision or Light of the Naaru costs 0. You can't use them as a cheap dump filler.
